You were coming home from college walking the empty streets. It was dark due to you having to stay late to make up the days you missed when you went to the hospital for the accident two weeks ago. You could hear the sirens as you walked. Something you were already used to. It was kind of cold at night, but you couldn't aford anything more. You had college debt drowning you and now hospital bills. You wondered if even being alive would be worth it in the end. You were alone everyday. No one talked to you in class not even the teachers. You were just someone in this world taking up space.
You walked down the street deciding on stopping by at the gas station for some ramen. You saved up just enough change for the cheap brand.
Walking in the bell chimed and you went straight for the ramen section. You found it and went to pay for it.
"400 won,"
"What the sign says 350!"
"400 won." the clerk said dryly.
You rolled your eyes.
"This is bull-"
"Here you go. Keep the change." a young man in a suite and tie who you didn't even notice was there paid for your meal.
You looked up at the towering man who smield kindly at you. He had long brown hair and wore a black suite that made his milky skin glow. You scoffed.
You hated pity. Especially from men who thought money was everything.
You took the ramen and walked out the store.
"Ah, wait! Thank you," the man bowed to the clerk and went after you outside. He caught up quickly and grabbed your arm.
"Would you like a ride home?" he asked with a gummy smile.
"No." you said sternly and annoyed walking away.
"B-but it's dark and dangerous! Please?"
You turned around fed up with this random guy who decided to take it upon himself to take care of you.
"Look, you look like a nice guy,"
Hey straightened his jacket and smiled.
"I said look. You're probably one of those cocky ass jerks who think if they act nice enough to a girl they'll melt for them and want to be with them and all there money and cars and big house. I'm not like that so goodbye!" you waved and turned around rolling your eyes.
"Actually," he ran in front of you stopping you.
"I was offering you a ride because I really am concerned for your safety. I didn't mean any harm..." he finished off a little sad.
Feeling a little bad, which wasn't common, you sighed heavily.
"Alright fine." you said and he lead you to a new, red convertible.
He opened the door as he introduced himself. The scent of a new car and cherries flowed out from inside the car.
"My name is Lee Jinki, but you can call me Onew." He smiled, but you just got in and closed the door on him.
He walked to the other side and climbed in.
"What is your name?" he asked starting the car and beginning to drive.
"You don't need to know since we won't see eachother again." you said looking out the window.
"Right, sorry. Belt on please. Where do you live then?" he asked after clearing his throat.
