I'm stuck sitting in a car with my older sister and mom. It's just us three because my father and mother got divorced recently. My mom decided we all need a fresh start. Which meant new school, house, job. Ugh, I really didn't want to move, I had lot's of friends back in New York! I now... it's far away from Georgia but my mom's choice not mine. When my mom told us my sister and I flipped! My sister, Alanna, she had to leave her boyfriend, Dylan, they've been together for 2 whole months! New record sis good job! Anyway... I've been in this cramped car for hours. It was muggy, and I was squashed between boxes and the window. Alanna got to sit in the front with our mom, Kate.

We pull into our new driveway, and I look out the window to see a huge beautiful house! We pull into the garage. And I manage to get out of the car. Mom stays behind and grabs a few boxes while Alanna takes the key from our mom and rushes over to the door. I follow exited to see the inside of the house. She puts the key in the lock and twists it open. I push the door open and run inside before Alanna. I stop and look around...

"Oh my gosh, Alanna look at this place!"

"Yeah, y/n I'm looking and it's AMAZING!" "I CALL BIGFEST ROOM!" As she runs upstairs.

"ALANNA NOT FAIR!" "UGH WHY ARE YOU SUCH A BUTT!"

"HAHAHAHA!" "Sucks for you!" As she looks into all of the bedrooms to determain which one is the biggest and the best.

I get up the stairs and Alanna yells from one of the rooms. "This one's mine!" I walk over to where she was and look in the room. It was big and had a light purple wall with a big bed, walk- in closet and huge mirror inside the walk-in closet. I was shocked at how big it was.

"Well, y/n, GET OUT OF MY NEW ROOM!"

"Geez, okay, okay I'm leaving!" As I walk out and check out the rest of the rooms. They're are a total of five bedrooms. I decide on the one farthest down the hall. It's bigish, well big enough for my needs anyway. It has a blueish, purple wall. It has a regular closet and a nice soft bed! It feels like a cloud! I have a window next to the bed with a curtain that reminds me of the ocean. My mom eventually comes upstair and into my new room.

"Here sweety, most of your stuff is in here. There are maybe two or more lugages that could be yours. I'll go get them for you, be right back!"

"Okay mom!" And with that she walks out and comes back with two lugages and one small box marked as mine.

I take about an hour and a half to get mostly unpacked and organized as much as I can. I stand up and see movement in the house across from us. There is a window right across from mine. The houses are pretty close to one another. I climb on the bed and move the curtain aside to see more clearly. I see a boy about my age walking around holding a phone and wearing a headset. There were like two other guys in there with him as well. Just great across from boys, just my luck! Ugh... I thought to myself. I didn't realize until after I looked back to the boys that they had noticed me too. The one with the headset was sitting facing the other way now, and the other two staring out the window at me. I quickly closed the curtain as the boys opened the window a little as one I assumed the one not paying attention spoke to the guys,

"Hey, what are you guys doing? Don't open the window!"

"But Sam saw someone looking out their window across from us." One of them replied.

"Really, no one has lived there for the last three months. Some one moved in?"

"I don't know man, it looked like a chick." The guy named Sam said.

"Huh?" The one with the headset said. He opened the window more and looked out taking off his headset and handing it off to one of the guys.

"Pffft, I don't see anyone."

"Dude! The frikin' light is on!" Just then I quickly leaped off of the bed and grabbed my phone texting my best friend, Lexi.

I had forgotten about the music I was listening to earlier and it was still playing. I turned my phone on and the music was blasting loud enough for the guys to hear.

"See dude, someone is in there! They're playing music!"

"Yeah, whatever man." I quickly turn off the music and flip the light in my room off.

"Aw, dude you scared her!"

"Shut up Sam! She probably just left her room or something."

"Whatever but your lucky man whoever it is over there it's a girl and that's obviously her room! You can watch her change!!!"

"Really dude! Your an ass!"
