15- Promise

I look at my mom in shock.
"What?!"
"We're going to visit Grandma and Grandpa!"
"Why?!"
"Because, they're family!"

I groan loudly, super annoyed.
"I planned on hanging out with Chandler and my friends.."
"I'm sorry [Y/N]," my mother sighs.

"Well, this is just great..." I mumble and start to stomp away.
"Start packing tonight after dinner [Y/N]! No time to dilly dally! We're leaving first thing tomorrow morning!"
"Got it..." I sigh and find Chandler outside.

"So? What's up?" Chandler smiles and looks at me.
"Bad news..."
"Oh god. What is it?" I look at Chandler and see the worry in his eyes.
"Turns out for winter break I have to go away for the whole week to visit my Grandma and Grandpa!"
"W-what? The whole week?!"
"Yeah.." I sigh, running a hand through my hair, "I'm not a fan of it either."
"Where do they live?" Chandler asks.
"Mmmm, down in Florida,"

(I JUST THOUGHT OF THIS MID WRITING: DO THEY EVEN HAVE WINTER BREAK IN GA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!)

"Hey thats not THAT far!"
I pout anyway, "It still makes me depressed because I wanted to hang out with you and Haley and Sam!"
Chandler sighs, then smiles, "Hey, its okay! We can Skype with them the whole week!"
I laugh and smile, "Oh my gosh yes!!!!"

"So when do you have to leave?"
I look at Chandler again, "Tomorrow morning,"
"Promise you won't leave until you say goodbye?"
"I promise," I sadly smile and nod.
"Good," I suddenly feel arms wrap around me and pull me into a warm hug.
I smile and hug back.

I pull out my suitcase and lift it up onto my bed.
I start packing clothes and bathroom stuff like my hairbrush, toothbrush and other things.
Once I finish packing I zip the suitcase shut and put it over by my door.

I grab my phone off of my nightstand and turn it on, seeing I have three missed text messages.
I click on them and see they're from Chandler.

Chan☺: okai you havent even left yet and I miss u already...ⓡ

Chan☺: MY BESTIE IS LEAVING MEEH!!!ⓡ

Chan☺: I CRI SM OMLⓡ

I laugh quietly to myself.

Princess❤: awww its okay Coral I'm still hereⓓ....ⓡ

Chan☺: Chan☺: yay! Hello bestie ⓡ

Princess❤: Hallow best frand! ⓡ

Princess❤: It is 10:34 and I refuse to sleep. I'm gonna txt u all night. sCREW SLEEPING!ⓓ...ⓡ
