Christmas. My favortie time of the year. We just finished decorating the cottage, which went much faster than it did in my childhood due to the fact with have magic on our side now.

Mady and I have been trying to get ahold of our family for a while now, only to be met with silence. We decided we wanted a nostalgic family Christmas like we had when we were kids. But now that our family isn't answering I have little hope left that we'll get that Christmas again. It's been like this for a few years now. One day my parents just disappered, and so did Tommy.

Tommy dissapering doesn't surprise us, this isn't the first time he's done this. But the fact that our parents have gone MIA worries us.

Mady was forced to move out when they disappeared. Me and Regulus have been helping her stay on her feet, she's moved closer to us. Altough she refuses to take our offer on her living with us. She found herelf a job, and know she's renting a flat across town. Along with that she's passing her classes in school. Luckily it's her last year before graduating.

She always told me she was jealous I got to graduate a year before Muggles. I pointed out that it wasn't always the best thing. While Muggles get many many years at their schools we only get seven years at our home. I can't imagine what it was like for magic born kids, only going to school for seven years. But I must say it was odd leaving my muggle school to go to Hogwarts at first. I had to explain to all my friends why I wasn't in school anymore, which caused many many lonely summers.

But Christmas always made everything seem okay again. This used to be the one time a year we were all home. So it holds a special place in my heart.

Aimee is set to be home today, along her friend. Regulus has been pacing in the sitting room all morning, and Marisa seemed to get a kick out of it. She mimicked him, pacing as well, she was making the same face that Regulus had been. Of course Reg had been too deep in thought to notice. So Mady came and got Marisa. Merlin, Mady's been a god send lately.

Finally I stand up and grab Regulus' shoulder, stopping him. "Regulus, enough of this. You have nothing to be worried about. She's your sister, she'll be happy to see you."

"That's if Peyton told her."

"Even if, and that is a extremely small if, she didn't know. It's not like Emma won't be thrilled to see you. You haven't talked to each other in over six years."

"I know, I know," he sighs, "I'm driving myself mental."

"Love, you went mental years ago." I go up on the tips of my toes to kiss him.

He smiles,  "You're not much saner than I am."

"Look all I'm saying is that everything will be fine. You don't need to worry about anything. Think of it as a simple dinner with friends."

"Thank you. I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Pace yourself to death clearly." I laugh.

"Alright you two! I am pretty sure Marisa has heard enough of my Muggle stories for a lifetime, sooo if you'd like, you can go spend time with your daughter. Before your other daughter gets here." Mady claps her hands from behind me.

"Yeah Mum, Aunt Mady can't tell the stories as good as you can." Marisa complains from on the stairs with a huge pout.

"Oh that's alright love. I won't let your Auntue torture you with anymore of her stories." I walk over and scoop her up into my arms.

"Rude." Mady mutters under her breath.

Marisa giggles in my arms as she leans over backwards, "Oh look Daddy's not going mad anymore!"
