My phone was shaking from the loud ringtone of Dynamite.
I looked at my phone to see who was calling, it was Jungkook calling me.
No reason to decline the call, so I answered it.
"Yeah? What's up" I asked tiredly
"Oh, I didn't mean to wake you up, I'm sorry," Jungkook said as he realized he woke me up
"No, it's good," I told him smiling
"Oh, good. Anyways, I was calling because there's this party my friend invited me to go to, and I was wondering if you want to go with me" Jungkook asked.
"Sure, but when is it?" I asked. I haven't been to parties ever since I graduated from college.
"It's tonight" Jungkook answered.
"Then why are you asking now," I asked curiously. Why did he ask me so early?
"Because it's Jin hyung's birthday party and as usual, his birthday parties are big. I know you will take the entire day figuring out what present to give him and find an 'exceptional' outfit for the party" Jungkook replied chuckled.
Oh my gosh, he is so true. Seokjin's parties are such a big deal. Once you're invited you're a fool to decline the invite.
"Why are you so right?" I asked Jungkook jokingly.
Jungkook just answered me with a slight chuckle.
"Alright, since you tell me in the early notice, I have to find the right outfit and the right gift for him this year. Wanna come and join me?" I asked Jungkook.
"Sure thing, I'll make sure you don't be late for his party because you're trying to find the right gift!" Jungkook laughed.
Last year I was only 2 minutes late to the party because I was trying to get the perfect gift for Seokjin.
Seokjin definitely noticed that I was late, but he didn't make much of a big deal out of it.
I get ready to go outside and I waited for Jungkook under the blossom tree where we always wait for each other.
Shortly after, Jungkook came to the blossom tree.
"So, are we getting Seokjin's present or your 'exceptional' outfit?" Jungkook asked.
I thought for a moment, the most time-consuming thing. That would be getting Seokjin's present.
Seokjin really likes it when I bring BTS merch for some reason, so I'll get him some again this year but something rarer
"Let's get Seokjin's present first this time" I answered Jungkook
"Alright, where are we going this time?" Jungkook asked.
"I was wondering if you know any places where you can buy really rare merch," I told Jungkook
"Oh, yeah I do actually" Jungkook smiled.
"Great! Can we go there?" I asked, I was relieved that I don't have to spend a lot of time going to each merch store to find something rare.
"Sure, let's go now," Jungkook said as he walked towards his car.
I followed Jungkook into his car and he took me to this huge merch store.
I looked at it, I've never seen any store as big as this store.
"So, are we going in or are you going to just stare at it?" Jungkook asked, cutting my thoughts.
"Oh, yeah! Sorry, I was just so amazed by how big this store is." I told Jungkook as we walked into the store.
I looked around the store to just browse for a little while.
I looked at the adorable jumbo RJ plush and I knew immediately Seokjin will love this.
I've seen his obsession with plushies, especially the jumbo ones.
I took the plush and paid for it at the counter
Jungkook looked at me when I came back and was shocked.
"What is that?" Jungkook asked, looking at my enormous bag
"It's Seokjin's present," I answered Jungkook plainly.
Jungkook nodded, no longer asking questions to ruin the surprise for Seokjin.
"Let's go get my outfit man!" I said, getting impatient with Jungkook's zoning out
"Yes! Let's go" Jungkook said when I shook him back to reality.
We went back into the car and he drove to so many places for me to choose an outfit.
I was surprised that Jungkook didn't lose a single drop of his patience when we kept driving around and waiting for me.
After a few hours of going to stores and I finally picked out my outfit that I think is exceptional:

Jungkook waited for me outside the changing room this time and when I came out to ask for his opinion on the dress he said he liked it so I got it.
If you don't know, Jungkook is harsh on me when it comes to outfits, I have no idea why.
I went home to relax for a bit while Jungkook went off on his own to do his things to prep for Seokjin's birthday as well.
