Daario and Drogo escorted me through the city, "you guys really don't need to be here," I said looking over my shoulder at them.

"We can't have you on your own," Daario said.

"I still think six of the Unsullied is ridiculous, I can shift into a horse if I need to fight," I said.

"Not against a group of Sons of Harpies you can't," Daario replied. I looked back at my father and he huffed a laugh. We walked to the market people parting for us Drogo pushed me behind him.

"Mae okay," (its okay,) I said from behind him.

"Listen to him," Daario said taking my hand in his, "if they are going to attack anywhere they are going to attack you here."

"I've had enough of this," I said and shifted into my horse, I kicked Daario back and pushed my father out of the way with my head. I galloped through the narrow market square and out into the open courtyard, the sun shone against my ebony fur making the red war paint almost glow. My ears twitched, turned and rotated as I heard rattling weapons coming towards me. I shifted from hoof to hoof and snorted, within no time I was surrounded by Sons of Harpies, their masks glinting in the sunlight. Their sharp blades like mirror shards, they walked closer and closer, my ears now pinned and as one approached my hindquarters I kicked him back.

My hooves thudded against his chest. "Brienne!" Daario and Drogo yelled running to me with the Unsullied following them. I reared up and crushed two of their number,  soon the square was with filled with blood and bodies Dario guarded my back and Drogo my front, one son sliced my flank I turned and kicked him but not without nudging Daario over, the dragons circled us. I reared up neighing to Drogon. They landed with a thud and shook the ground under sharp claws, hooves and feet.

Just when we thought we had cut their number down, more and more came. I charged head first in to the group, I used the drop off the other side as a vantage point until one grabbed my head and pulled me with him, I free fell for a few moments till Drogon caught me in his grip and gently placed me back down. I nodded and galloped back into the thick of the fight, I snapped one sons legs in half and trampled him. Daario slit another ones throat and Drogo decapitated another.

The Unsullied still stood strong. We chased off the last of them, and with the dragons help they ate the remains. My father rushed to me and rested a hand on my neck, "hash yer okay?" (Are you okay?) he asked panicking and panting. I nodded, we looked back at Daario he had been slit in the stomach, he was on his knees gripping at his stomach.

"No!" I reared up and collapsed next to him, he hauled himself onto my back, and I galloped back to the palace ignoring the pain in my flank and  shoving people out of the way as I went. As soon as I reached the palace, I galloped up the steps and to the sick bay where the purest healing springs were, I prayed to the horse gods I made it in time.
