Peter awoke to a thump. His eyelids fluttered, curious to see the source of the noise and he extended his arms above him to stretch away the sleep. Whatever, or whoever, made the noise was silent now, but Peter got up anyways, his legs seeming to carry him without much thought. Outside his room and down the hallway he spotted Libby leaving her and Nos' room, she looked to be in a hurry, "Hey Libby! Did you hear that noise? It sounded like something fell," He tried to say, but Libby quickly answered no before he could finish, hurrying off into the darkness with a bag slinged over her shoulder. Peter didn't think much of it and continued his walk down the hallway to see if Nos heard anything. His fist tapped gently against the door, "Nos? You awake?" he asked. No response. But the light was on, maybe he just didn't hear? Peter twisted the doorknob, "Nos?"
The light from inside spilled into the hallway and Peter's eyes took a second to adjust seeing just a lump on the floor. He got closer, his eyes adjusted and the lump took form, "NOS!" He yelled, running to the teenager. He coughed, blinking hard and lifting his head weakly.
"What happened to you?" Peter cried, now on his knees with Nos' head in his lap, "don't worry about me, I'll be fine," he strained, clearly not fine. "Look at me," Peter said putting a hand on Nos' cheek, tears creeping into the corners of his eyes, "what happened?" Nos shifted his gaze, "I drank something and now I feel like shit, probably just alcohol poisoning." Peter's eyebrows furrowed, "Nos my mom is an alcoholic with some serious mental issues, I know what alcohol poisoning looks like and this isn't it! Where's the bottle you drank from?" He said, looking around until his eyes locked onto a bottle on the floor with a big "X" on it, "You drank chemical X? Nos this is serious, it can be lethal! And the only way to cure it is.." Peter blushed, not sure if he had the courage to say it. "There's a cure? What is it! Tell me!" Nos groaned, his condition worsening quickly. "We have to... Well we have to kiss."
Nos' cheeks turned a similar shade as Peter's, "F-fine, as long as it gets the poison out let's just do it quickly." Peter nodded, but his hands trembled with nervousness when they lightly brushed against Nos' face. His first kiss would be with Noscope360, and although Peter wasn't afraid to admit Nos was sexy as FUCK, he had never thought of the older teen that way. Not until now at least. As the life in Nos' lips seemed to fade, Peter took a deep breath and pulled Nos up close, their eyes meeting before their lips. Nos closed his eyes first, leaning in, and Peter soon followed. The kiss lasted longer than Peter thought, and seemingly suddenly he was running out of breath. As their lips parted, the color to Nos' face began to return, "Damn Shawty," Nos said. Peter didn't hesitate to kiss him again, and suddenly he realized what Nos meant by life's a multiplayer game, and from now on they would play this game called life, together.
