Chapter 11: I don't like my bestfriend, do I?!

October 13th
Tuesday, 7:30pm,
Dunwiddie village park.
Third POV.

As Sofia and Hugo sat there, holding hands they suddenly heard giggling. They looked to their left to see the girls giggling. "How long have you guys been there?" Sofia asked. "Not long." James said walking up to them. "But finally it's over, Shopping with girls suck." He whined. Hugo and Sofia laughed. "Hey! You didn't have to come!" Amber defended herself. "Yes I did! You forced me to!" James said. "Oh yeah..hehe." Amber replied. James rolled his eyes at his sister's stupidity. "Anyways, We should probably head back, it's getting quite dark out here," Sofia said, The group agreed. Everybody said goodbye to each other. "It was great seeing you guys again." Sofia said, "Yeah, It's a shame you have to go!" Ruby, Jade and Lucinda said. "I promise I'll visit, you could even come to the castle anytime!" Sofia said. "Really! Great!" Jade said. The four girls hugged goodbye. Ruby, Jade and Lucinda went home. "Bye, Hu! See you Monday!" Sofia said as she walked over to her carriage, "Wait!" Hugo ran up to her. "Huh?" Hugo kissed her on the forehead and whispered into her ear, "Night, Fia. Can't wait to see you Monday." Sofia giggled as she tried to hide her butterflies. "Jeez, when did you become so cheesy, Hu?" She asked. "Wha-!" Hugo was interrupted by Sofia kissing him on the cheek, "Night Hu!" She waved goodbye as she went into the carriage. Sofia and Hugo both blushed. Sofia's carriage took off. Hugo covered his face. "Oh god! Why did I do that?!" He freaked out, "Wait..It's only Fia..why am I acting like this?" The two thought together, "I don't like my best friend do I?!" "What, Hugo are you crazy?! You can't like her! It'll ruin your friendship!" Hugo muttered to himself. Hugo sighs. "Whatever, You have to get home first, Hugo." He thought to himself as he got into his carriage.

Meanwhile with the Enchancia kids.

"I don't like Hugo! Yeah, yeah! You don't like Hugo, Sofia! This is all in your head!" Sofia thought to herself. "But.." Sofia's mind trailed to all the good times with her best friend. "No!" She shook her head. "I have to put my feelings aside! He doesn't like you! You can't be awkward around him either or he'll know something is up! Hugo is just my best friend!" She thought as she blushed, hoping her siblings wouldn't notice. "Woah, Sofia. Are you..blushing?" James asked. "W-what! No! You're blushing!" Sofia said as she covered her face with her hands. "Oh my god! Were you thinking about Hugo?!" Amber chimed in with sparkles in her eyes. "Wh-what!? No! Hugo and I are just friends! You are crazy!" Sofia defended. "But-" But before Amber could get another word in, they arrived back at the castle to which Sofia shot out of the carriage to avoid anymore questions. Amber and James looked at each other and both said, "She likes him." With a smirk. "I'll try to talk more about it to her later!" Amber thought to herself. The weekend flew by, Amber kept trying to talk to Sofia about her new found crush but to no avail so she eventually gave up as she realized it was none of her business but reassured Sofia if she ever needed help with the situation she knew where to find her. Before the kids knew it, It was Monday.

October 15th,
Monday, 4:00pm.
ERA, ice rink.
Third POV.

It was time for Sofia's ice dancing class, She walked to the rink and looked for her best friend, soon enough, she spotted him. "Hugo!" She walked up to him. "Hey, Fia." Even though they both liked each other, they didn't want to let that get in the way of their friendship, so they acted normal. "You should probably put on your skates, Class is starting soon." Hugo told her. "Right. I'll meet you on the ice?" Sofia said, Hugo nodded. Sofia walked over to the bench to put on her skates and headed on to the ice to meet Hugo but saw him helping another student, which she didn't mind so she waited him to finish while doing some fireball flips, she was doing pretty well until she jumped and twisted her ankle, which caught her off-guard and couldn't do the flip, She was going to fall down but someone caught her. "Woah, You okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine, Thanks Hu." "Did you twist your ankle?" "Yeah." "Maybe you should sit this class out," "Maybe you're right."
Hugo got off the ice and sat Sofia down on a bench. "Thanks, Hugo." "Anytime, Princess. I'll go tell Ms. Dona what happened, I'll be right back." "Okay!" Sofia took off her skates as she wouldn't be partaking in this class. Hugo soon came back, "Do you want me to sit with you? I'm sure Ms. Dona won't mind." "No, You should go help the other students, They need help more than I do! Plus I don't want you not having fun!" "You sure?" "Positive!" She replied with a smile. "You're too nice, Fia!" Hugo smiled back, "Now go!" "Okay, call me if you need anything!" "I'll be fine, it's just a twisted ankle!" "Okay, Bye Fia!" "Bye!" Hugo went back to the rink. Sofia watched as Hugo was teaching the other students, It made her happy that the other student were having fun as well as Hugo. The class later had finished up, Hugo walked over to Sofia. "Do you want me to carry you to the carriage?" "You don't have to- Ah!" Hugo picked Sofia up after taking off his skates. "Hugo!" She whined. Hugo just chuckled and started walking. They were just in front of Sofia's carriage when Sofia said, "You can let me down now, Thanks Hugo!" "Okay." But just before Hugo set her down she kissed him on the cheek. "Thanks Hu! See you tomorrow." She said as she turned away. Suddenly, Hugo gently grabbed her hand and pulled her closer and facing toward him. He kissed her forehead. "Get better soon, Fia!" "I'll try." She giggled. Sofia got into the carriage and waved to Hugo. They both smiled. Amber noticed Sofia's limping. "Oh my, Sofia are you okay?!" Amber asked, Worried for her little sister. "I'm fine, Amber! I just twisted my ankle during ice dancing, It'll heal soon though!" She smiled, She was happy Amber cared about her.
