to get used to the
sweetness of a
bright day, i shall
never know. for all
my life i have been stuck
in the walls of a house
that has no mercy
upon my deprived body.
i fear that even upon the
day i shall die, the sun would
neglect my face and shine
away from me, and treat me
as though i would be a stranger
and an "untouchable"; someone
who would belong only to the
dark and tall walls of eternal night.
