Dragon invasion

Thrill

Fire rained down on the village. Terrified screams echoed around the houses. Mothers and fathers tried to lead there children to safety.
Tally looked out of her window and ran toward the kitchen.
"Quick Lucy, Maddie, Alex, and Haden get over to the cellar!!!" Lucy looked at Tally then at the food she had been putting in the sack.
"This won't last us! we need to gather more!" the others nodded there Agreement, they were very eager to get to the safety of underground, but if the dragons kept on damaging there village it was very possible that a little less than a ton of wood would fall on the entrance to the underground cave. If they were to get trapped they would have to have food until someone found them.
"We don't have time! either die now or have a slight possibility of surviving later." The other orphans started going to the door, when she put it that way they decided it was better to die from starvation than from bloodthirsty dragons.
There was a terrible crash! and everyone screamed in terror! they looked behind them and saw part of the little cabin had collapsed from the fire. tally took a deep breath then yelled to her friends,
"RUN GO TO THE CELLAR QUICK!!!" without hesitation they scrambled outside.
Tally ran back into the heaps of Burt wood that used to be the kitchen. she ducked and jumped over the almost impossible obstacles. Finally she found some scattered food. at first she didn't find what she was looking for, and sighed a relief. but then she caught sight of it. the red bottle containing Lucy's medicine. Lucy was allergic to smoke, and this was if she got near it. she probably forgot about it during the rush. Tally reached for it but then hesitated the dragons would circle around to this part of town any minute now and burn it to nothing but ashes. But if she didn't get Lucy's medicine Lucy would die. but on the other hand if she was dead then she couldn't get the medicine and they would both die. But.... Oh for goodness sake she was wasting the precious time she had. she grabbed the bottle and started pushing her way back to the door. Then she heard something that made her freeze in terror.
"Tally!!!" where are you" she could hear Lucy's voice drifting over to her. No! If Lucy came in farther looking for her it would be to late. She hear something then a great burst I heat. she turned and peered out the window. she saw a scaly creature climbing the rocks with an evil smirk on his face. her heart missed a beat and she froze.
"Ahhhhh!" Only that one terrified scream made her jump through the rest of the wood. She came out of the stuffy crammed space with a cough. she looked around her. she saw Lucy sprawled on the floor. And standing over her was a filthy creature, a scaly dragon.
"There's two!" she said with surprise. The dragon glanced at her than smirked. tally raced over to a broken chair and ripped a leg of. the dragon first flung his head back and then opened his mouth showing hundreds of teeth and then aimed his mouth at Lucy and then.... Tally couldn't watch she covered her eyes and started silently crying. Then she heard foot steps the dragon was coming towards her.
