Chapter Three

KARIN'S P.O.V

Dave and i walk to my house. When we get there my mom is sitting on the porch. "Hey mom." I wave at her. "hey karin. Who is this young man?" She says smiling. "Im Dave Strider." Dave says with that adora- i mean stupid stoic stare. "Oh... thank you for taking Karin home." She smiles. "No problem. She helped me understand stuff i didnt know" he says smiling. "Well its getting late... If you want you can stay the night dave. Karin has a twin brother and you can borrow his clothes if you want." My mom says smiling. "Sure. Im positive Bro wont mind." He says shrugging and I grab his wrist. "Ill show him to Kens room so he can pick out some clothes." I say smiling as i walk him inside and up the stairs. "Wow. You really jumped at the opportunity to take me somewhere." He says with his se- i mean smug smirk. Cmon Karin! You wont let his coolness and sexiness get to you! "Dude... my brother is home so not like we would be in a room alone." I say as i knock on my twins door. "Whaaaatt" i hear my brother groan. I smirk. "Watch this Dave" i say quietly as i slam open the door, letting go of Daves wrist. "Yo brother! I got a guy over and he is WAYYY cooler than your stupid 'Video game skills'" i say smirking. My brother immediately turned around. "IMPOSSIBLE!!!" He shouts pointing at Dave. I chuckle and my brother walks up to Dave. "Strider... what are you doing here?" Ken says looking protective. "Your kind mother is allowing me to spend the night." Dave says looking at my brother. "Ken he just needs come clothes." I say rolling my eyes and pulling my brother away from Dave. "Fine. Dave it should be obvious where my clothes are." Ken says pulling me aside. "Karin be careful. I dont trust him." He says whispering. "Wow bro... fine I'll be careful." I say rolling my eyes. I motion Dave to follow me and I show him to my room. "As long as you dont do anything dirty you can sleep in my bed or on the floor..." I say looking at him. "Ok." He says shrugging. My mom calls us for dinner. "Cmon cool kid" i say running downs stairs and i sit at the table and Dave walk in after i have already sat down. "Dang Karin.... you were hungry."he says sitting beside my mom. "I do that every night" i say chuckling.
