•Dead?•

Location: Asan Medical Center, South Korea

Her pale body, covered up with a white sheet layed on the hospital bed, with the loud beeping noise of the machines around her.

Where the poor girl was fighting for her life, her other siblings didn't seem to even acknowledge her absence except a few. Her chest seemed to slowly rise up and fall down as she breathed with the help of the oxygen mask.

Yoongi was worried sick about his little sister. His heart literally stopped beating the moment he got to know about her condition from the doctor.

But by god's grace, they had reached the hospital before something really bad could have occurred, though at the current moment Y/n was receiving treatment but there was very little chance that she could get well soon.

His warm hands gently held Y/n's, seeking to bring warmth to them. Since their arrival at the hospital, Yoongi had never left her side.

Their connection wasn't bound by blood, but Yoongi felt an inexplicable urge to safeguard her.

In the midst of this, time slipped away unnoticed, and Yoongi became so consumed with looking after his sister that he forgot to inform anyone about her condition.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kim, Yoongi's father, was displeased with his son's sudden absence. The cancellation of a crucial meeting due to this incident frustrated him, fearing potential losses.

Massaging his temples, he sat on the couch present in his office, "Yoongi better have an explanation for this" he murmered.

"Boss, something urgent might have come up. I'm sure he didn't have any intention of suddenly disappearing before the meeting ", Jin said.

"Yes Boss, Yoongi Sir has never done such a thing like that. Never until now, something really urgent might have actually come up I'm sure he didn't do this without any reason", Namjoon added.

His sons Jin and Namjoon kept defending their brother Yoongi, convinced that he must have had a genuine reason for his abrupt disappearance.

As Yoongi regained consciousness, he squinted to see the person before him.

"Sir?" the person addressed him.

"Yes," he responded in a hoarse voice.

The nurse suggested arranging staff for the patient overnight and inquired about potential family support.

Yoongi realized he had forgotten to notify his family about Y/n's condition or the important meeting that had escaped his mind upon finding his sister so ill.

Frustrated, he searched his pockets for his phone but found it almost dead. He excused himself and rushed out of the room, heading to the parking lot.

Opening his car door, he found his phone with a bit of battery left and dialed his mother's number in hope.

Meanwhile, Mrs Kim, busy in the kitchen with the chef was interrupted by her phone's ringtone. Hearing her son's voice, she sensed something was amiss.

"Yoongi, what's wrong?" she asked, her maternal concern evident."Mom," Yoongi's voice wavered over the phone, "It's Y/n. She's in the hospital. It's serious."

Mrs. Kim's heart sank at her son's words. The worry in his voice was enough to make her drop everything and rush to her daughter's side.

"We'll be there right away," she reassured him, her voice soothing. "Don't worry, Yoongi, we're on our way."

Hanging up, Mrs Kim swiftly informed her husband and their other children about Y/n's condition. Concern and urgency filled the household as they gathered to head to the hospital.

Back at the hospital, Yoongi paced outside the room, his mind racing. He knew he should have informed his family earlier, and the guilt gnawed at him. His focus had been solely on
Y/n's well-being, but now he realized the implications of his actions.

As he waited, his family arrived, a mix of anxiety and relief evident on their faces. His mother hugged him tightly, a silent understanding passing between them.

Together, they entered Y/n's room. Her condition remained critical, but the presence of her family seemed to bring a glimmer of hope. Mrs Kim held Y/n's hand, her touch conveying the love only a mother could provide.

In the days that followed, the family rallied around Y/n. They took turns staying by her side, offering comfort and support except for the fact the youngest group of siblings - Taehyung, Jimin, Jungkook and Nia were still no where to be found.

Despite the tension caused by the missed meeting, Mr Kim's concern for his daughter was paramount , all his anger did sway away when he heard of the news.

Yoongi, especially, rarely left Y/n's side. He felt an unbreakable bond with her.

Mr Kim's concern for his daughter's well-being remained strong, and he did his best to maintain a semblance of normalcy within the household.

Taehyung, Jimin, Jungkook, and Nia's absence continued to cast a shadow over the family, though. Their whereabouts remained a mystery but despite their maturity and the knowledge that they were likely capable of taking care of themselves, their unexplained absence still caused a certain level of unease.

As the moon began to glow up and the night began , the sound of laughter and footsteps echoed through the car. Taehyung, Jimin, Jungkook, and Nia finally returned home but however, as they stepped inside, they noticed a strange, lingering silence in the air.

Soon they were greeted by Mr Lee who just wore up the plain blank emotioned face as always greeted them.

"Where is everyone Me Lee" Taehyung questioned

"They all went to the hospital, I did hear that Miss Y/n collapsed" Mr Lee answered
