the wind causes yuta to shiver and pull his coat around him tighter. his friend, minjeong, is beside him as they walk to their next classes. she rants about accidentally calling her friend hot.

"yuta, i don't think you understand how embarrassing this is", minjeong rolls her eyes when she realizes that yuta has stopped paying attention.

"i'm listening." he mumbles before sending her a teasing smile. "how will you ever move on from something so embarrassing?"

"you don't care." minjeong mutters before a large poster catches her eye. "hey yu, you should join that."

at first yuta thinks that minjeong is trying to get him to join another club. she's always trying to find him a new hobby. he looks over at the poster she's pointing to.

"WAMBAM IS HOSTING THEIR FIRST EVER MATCHMAKING EVENT. JUST IN TIME FOR VALENTINE'S DAY!!" the poster reads. yuta has never heard of this wambam before but admittedly yuta couldn't deny that it peaked his interest.

"maybe you can find yourself a big strong alpha" minjeong gushes before starting to walk again as it got closer to class starting. yuta takes a quick photo of the poster and then quickly following after minjeong.

that evening~

yuta lets out a sigh as he checks the poster on more time to make sure he's at the right classroom. finally building up enough courage, he opens the door. the room has much more people than he expected. everyone had found a seat except for two that stood at the front of the classroom. they must be the club leaders

"hey is this wambam?" yuta says shyly.

the girl standing at the front nods. "it is! you made it just in time. we're about to hand out the forms now. why don't you find a seat"

yuta nods and quickly takes the first seat he can find.

the girl speaks again, holding up a stack of papers. "okay everyone! please fill these out as accurately as possible so we can find the best match for you!"

a piece of paper is set in front of yuta and he quickly begins to fill it out.

"well everyone, we will get back to you about your matches next week." the man dismisses the meeting with a farewell and a hope to see you next week.

the next week~

yuta is sat in the same spot from the week prior. he anxiously rubs his hands together, listening as they announce the pairs.

"next we have yuta and yuqi! if you two would like to stand and greet each other."

yuta stands, his eyes immediately finding the small alpha girl. her dominant pheromones already affecting him. he swallows and makes his way to her.

"hello yuta" yuqi says with a soft smile. she has to know how intensely she's affecting him.

"h h hi yuqi" yuta is finally able to stutter out. he has seen yuqi around campus before. she's known for being one of the top alphas in the school.

yuta never would have expected to be paired with yuqi but he's glad he did. he knows that this will be an adventure. his inner wolf is very pleased to be paired with such a strong alpha.
