April 9, 1996 was exciting day for Lyn-Z. Lyn-Z was a 6 year old girl who was driving home with her dad Gerard. Lyn-Z had shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes. Gerard was 32 years old and had short blonde hair and blue eyes. Lyn-Z's mom was killed in a car accident two years before.
Lyn-Z and Gerard were heading to Newark, New Jersey from Dover, Delaware. Lyn-Z's grandparents live there. Gerard would have stayed but decided to move to Dover where his brother Mikey lived. he and Lyn-z had moved there after her mother died.
"Hey, Dad, are we lmost to grandma and grandpa's house yet?" Lyn-Z asked.
"Not yet," her father answered.
"Okay," Lyn-Z said quietly and turned back towards the window.
Lyn-Z loved visiting her grandparents because they were so nice to her and loved her so much. Just then, she saw some ducks on the side of the road. She started thinking of a story to tell her dad while they were driving in the car. Lyn-Z had a good imagination just like her dad and thought of a story very quickly.
"Hey, Dad, these ducks on the side of the road are having the best day ever!" Lyn-Z excited;y told her father.
"Really, what are they doing?" Her father asked.
"Well, the tall one there, he is the father and his name is Ray. There are two babies. The really small one's name is Frank and the bigger one's name is Bob," Lyn-Z said.
"Cool," her father said.
"Yeah, Ray is taking Frank and Bob for a walk in the sun. Frank is a wild little duck and likes adventures. His father is constantly reminding him to be careful. Last week, he almost got hurt because he was playing in the road after his father told him not to. Then a car came and poor Frank got so scared that his father and his brother both had to yell for him to run off the road," Lyn-Z said and waited for her father to say something.
"Well what happened next?" her father asked anxiously.
"Frank ran off the road just before the car got to him and his father was so relieved. The End," Lyn-Z said, indicating that her story had ended.
"that was a great story, Lyn-Z. Are you going to tell grandma and granpa?" Her father asked her.
"You bet!" Lyn-Z said excitedly.
When they got to her grandparents Lyn-Z jumped out of the car and ran to the house. her grandparents came out to her and Lyn-Z said, "I have a great story to tell you!"
