Attack on Human: Chapter 7

Chapter 7: Creature

"What can it be?" Eggo asked confused and with a look of terror in his eyes.

"It has to be bigger than the wall to make that hole."

"Bigger than the wall?! How are we supposed to fight against something that is bigger than the wall? It will just trample us as if we are ants."

"I know, but we must take back our country and stop this war."

"Why did this even start?"

Should I tell him that it started because the humans wanted to get to my dad's laboratory? I trust Eggo but, what if he is a traitor working with the humans just like the president? 

"Hey Egg. You good?" Eggo says looking at Egg's face which was lost in thought.

"Y- yeah."

"We have two options on what we can do right now. One, we cover up the hole in the wall which will probably take a few months. Two, we try to guard the hole and stop humans from entering."

"Two, we guard the hole. And while doing that, the other person goes and kills as many humans  in the country as possible. This will stop humans from entering and also clear out the humans in the country."

"Good idea, but what if that thing which made the hole in the wall shows up again. We don't have any thing good enough to defend ourselves against something that is capable of doing that to the wall."

"We fight it with what we have. There is no other option."

Eggo looked scared. 

They both knew that if it showed up again, they would die. Egg's plan was a suicide mission but it was the best they had. 

"Give your hearts for the sake of the Eggs!"

Eggo said the same after Egg. That was their army's motto. Commander Egwin always said this before charging against humans in his expedition outside the wall with his soldiers. The people who went outside the wall in expeditions were known as the Scouts. They charged towards their enemies and sought freedom for the Eggs. The Scouts were the only hope of freedom for the Eggs. If only the Scouts were here now to kill the humans inside the country.

"Sitting around and doing nothing won't help. We need to choose who kills the humans in the country and who guards the hole." Egg said.

"I'll guard the wall!"

Both of them said in the same time. 

Egg didn't know why Eggo wanted to guard the wall. Was it the same reason as Egg's? Egg wanted to guard the wall because he wanted to see what had made the hole.

"Uh, well I guess I'll kill the humans then since I'm more experienced with the mobility gear but if that thing shows up use your flare gun and I'll come to you."

"Alright, meet me here after an hour. Try to eliminate as many humans as possible."

"See you later chief." Eggo says as he aims his hooks and boosts away into the sky.

Egg turns around and looks out into the world beyond the wall. It's beautiful. If only Eggs were free and not trapped like animals surrounded by a wall just because humans started to squash Eggs for fun, they could go out past and beyond the wall into the horizon.

Egg always believed that beyond the mountains in the distance was freedom. No humans. Or at least that is what his father always told him.

His father was a doctor. Or, that is what he told others. He was actually an Egg who came from outside the walls. How did he survive and come from outside the walls when there were humans? Well, he says that he came from a place called Eggly which was outside the walls. No one in the walls knew about this except Egg and his mother. The whole of Eggtry thought that there was nothing except death beyond the wall and that the Eggs in the wall, were the only ones. Egg's dad also used to say that Eggly was a far more developed place than Eggtry and that it's army was so strong, that if they attacked Eggtry would be destroyed in a few minutes.

Attacked by Eggly... Destroyed in minutes... An extremely powerful army... Is it just me or does that sound like right now? My dad said Eggly had a strong army, but he didn't say army of what. Eggs? Humans? Or worse, creatures we don't know of yet. But why would Eggs attack other Eggs? It just doesn't make sense-

Out of thin air appeared a massive giant human. It was triple the size of the wall and had red eyes that glowed like fire. It looked down at Egg with the intention of killing in his eyes.

This was the end, there is no way I am getting out of this. Even if Eggo was here there would be no way to kill this thing. 

ROAR

It was so loud that windows of buildings started to shatter. The whole wall shook as if an earthquake as strong as a bomb hit it.
