Kat's P.O.V

I got up with a groan, and sighed softly with a slight smile. I guess I should have a pretty normal morning but thanks to living with the guys my mornings have been more in the evening, but whatever.
I had decided to try and get a job, since it'll probably be a good idea to do such. I left a note and went out towards a mall, not far off. They had a lot of places from shoe stores, Starbucks, Hot Topic, and a ton of other stores. I decided to go check out Hot Topic first since I know the place inside and out.

I went up to the desk and smiled at the girl "Would you know if this store is hiring by any chance?" She perked up and nodded "Yeah! If you want you can talk to the manager, I can call for her."

I grinned happily at hearing this "Sure!" I was smiling happily when I heard that answer and the girl disappeared and returned with a somewhat cute male, about 6'1", black hair, snake bites and was covered in a bunch of tattoos. He looked pretty cool.

I waved and he came over "You're the one asking about the job?" I gave a nod and he smiled "We've been needing a new face and you look perfect for who we need. Have you been here before?"

"Yeah, I have. I love shopping here!" The taller guy chuckled "Well then, let's go with the words 'you've got yourself a job!'"
My eyes widen and I jump happily "Oh my God thank you!" He just nodded "How does tomorrow sound for starting?" He said before he left "It sounds perfect. "10:00am is when your shift starts. I'll hope to see you then." I nodded and waved "You will!" I said and bought a few things while I was there. Lipstick, eyeshadow, eyeliner and nail polish. I was about to leave when I saw their piercings "Hmm...I'll come back for this later.." I muttered to myself before I left.
I returned to a silent bus filled with sleeping creatures of the night. On my way back I stopped by Starbucks and decided to get the guys something, and bought Pumpkin Spice Lattes, while I just got a Mocha Latte. I need my coffee, even though it's not straight up coffee, it's the next best thing.
Not long after I had brought in the food I heard movement. I walked over to where Chris was sleeping and I smiled, opening the curtain and sliding in, his mouth partially open. "Yeah he's gonna want something to drink when he wakes up." I muttered and crawled out, closing the curtains.
I relaxed against the couch drinking my latte, as I saw someone get out of their bunk, Chris who came over. "Hey, how'd you sleep?" He grinned "Like the dead." I rolled my eyes "Horrible pun but okay, it works."
He grabbed his latte and sat beside me, and I just leaned against him. "I figured you and the guys would want some Starbucks." He nodded "Well you are correct." I raised my hand "Oh and I have a job now!" He blinked and I felt him pull me into a hug. "Congratulations, kitten! When do you start?" I stretched finishing my drink "10:00am, tomorrow morning." He frowned a bit "until..?" I just shrugged "I don't know I wasn't told."
He groaned a bit "Ah, well im happy for you." He wrapped his arms around me, and put down his drink. I hugged him and hummed a bit. "This is amazing.." He quirked a brow "What is?"
"The fact that everything that has gone on in the past few months is fucking amazing! Now I have a job ontop of it." I raised my arms in a cheering motion. "Now, I'm going to guess you're hungry?" I said curiously and he looked away "Im okay, but thank you."
I blinked, a bit surprised. Something's off, and I don't know what. I ignored it and nibbled his ear causing a moan. "I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight. Like, you know.." He laughed and nodded "Id love to."
"Good! I'll meet you by the mall at 9:00pm, okay?" He kissed my cheek and nodded "Of course. I'll see you then?" I nodded "im gonna hang out with my friend Kristen. Haven't seen her in a while." I just got a nod and a kiss.
I took out my phone and texted her

Me: Hey Krissy

Kristen: Hey kitty cat! Been a while. What's up?

Me: Wanna hang out for a bit?

Kristen: Well no duh! Where?

Me: Movies. You know where that is, yeah?

Kristen: Again, no duh! I'll see you there in an hour!

Me: Cool! See you there!

Kristen: Bye!

I put my phone away and fixed my makeup, and lounged around for a bit and headed out, eventually arriving at the movies not long after. Kristen was just pulling up.
When she got out she rushed over and smiled happily "Kitty cat!" I laughed and hugged her "Hey Krissy!" She placed her hand on my shoulder close to the bite and I had to bite my tongue so I wouldn't make a noise "W..wanna go see what movies there are?"
She nodded and didn't pay attention to my reaction, thank God. I went in and we picked a movie, getting popcorn and sweets, and two large drinks. We got great seats and laughed through the ads and then paid full attention to the movie.
The movie ended and we just hung out playing games until about 7:30pm and I sighed "I gotta head off to meet Chris for 9:00pm, so, I'll have to leave." She pouted and I hugged her "We can do more next time!" She nodded and hugged me "I'll see you then!" We nodded and parted ways, and I headed back to where I told him I would be.
I was there about fifteen minutes early so I walked around a bit.
It got kind of iffy and dark, and I stroll over a bit too far before I feel myself dragged into an alley behind me. I let out a scream, but at that I was stabbed and the person stole my wallet and any other valuables save for my phone. Thank God. I laid there, but finally decided to force myself up, holding where I was stabbed, twice. I stumbled, I needed to get back, shit. It hurts too badly..
I collapse only to be caught by strong arms and picked up. "Kat! Shit!! Don't fucking pass out!" I heard Chris yell and he rushed back towards his place where everyone was at the moment. He busted the door open without breaking it, somehow, and the guys just stared "What happened?!" I heard Ricky say in shock. "I dont know, I found her like this..!" I was almost passing out from blood loss.
Chris' P.O.V
"Kat! Kat! Stay awake! Come on!" I growled, my breathing ragged from the smell of her blood. Fuck. I looked at Ricky for some sort of advice "Knowing doctors, they won't be able to fix her wounds. They most likely ruptured something anyways. Chris, you realize you may have to." I looked down, knowing Ricky was right. "I know I just....didn't want it to come to this." I pulled her into my arms, cradling her there. "This will hurt, more than you think. But I'll stay with you.." I said softly into her ear before biting into her neck, causing her to flinch as I drank from her veins, shivering at the taste and this time I allow my venom to set in, pulling back and holding her close as she screamed in pain. She's conscious now but I hate hearing her in pain. This wasn't going to last a short time, the change can take up to an hour: depending on the person.

I just held her shaking, crying and screaming figure, holding her to my chest, the guys sitting around me, watching.
She had calmed down after about a half hour, and her wounds sealed up. She let out a groan and opened her eyes, the grey now a red. "Welcome back, kitten.." She looked at me "Why...do I feel so hungry and want to bite you..?" I sighed "You're a vampire now."

Her jaw dropped. Shit, and she has a job tomorrow. "You can drink my blood if you want, it's probably a good idea since we are now bound as mates officially now." As soon as those words slipped from my mouth and she profeeeed them she leaned up instantly biting into my neck, sinking them into a pretty big vein. "Aaah!" I let out a moan and surprised scream especially from the vein she hit, causing me to tremble. "F-fuuuck...."
I held her close, as she eventually relaxed, and I calmed down, even though that was insanely one of those moments where your instinct tells you to have sex. It's normal for new official mates.
She eventually fell asleep and I carried her to our bed, and I slid her into bed and took my shirt off before crawling in after her. "Mm...goodnight my love..." I whispered in her ear as she smiled in her sleep. I let the abyss of sleep consume me not long after.
