The Pain I Felt( Neglected Son of Meliodas story)

Chapter: 1

Y/N P.O.V
It had been two weeks, since I left Purgatory. I was walking through a town west from where I was transported, looking for food, and somewhere to sleep. I saw what seemed to be an inn and decided to go inside. At the front desk I saw a middle aged man, who had an angry look on his face. I walked up to him and requested a room.

Y/N: "Hello sir. I would like a room please" I said while the man stared at me.

I/O( Inn owner): " Three silver coins" he said with a rude tone.

Y/N: I then handed him the money, which I got by stealing, before walking to my room.

I came downstairs to go find some food, when I saw the man arguing with a girl who seemed my age.

???: " Please sir. I have nowhere else to go. It's winter, I will freeze to death if I go back outside." She said while trembling.

I/O: " How is any of this my problem. If I gave everyone who was in trouble a room, I wouldn't have a business. Now leave before I throw you out myself" the man said while gesturing for the girl to leave.

She then turned around with her head down, preparing to venture back into the cold. As she was leaving I stepped in to help her.

Y/N: " That won't be necessary." I said as I placed 3 silver coins on the counter. " I'm sure this will be enough for her to get a room." I said causing her to look at me confused.

The man then clicked his tongue before telling her that she could stay, in his regular rude tone. He showed her to her room while glaring at the both of us. After he left, the girl and I stood in the hallway talking.

???: " Why did you help me?" She asked while staring into my eyes.

Y/N: " You needed help." I said which seemed to satisfy her curiosity.

I then heard her stomach growl, which made her cheeks turn a bright shade of red in embarrassment.

Y/N: "Follow me." I said as I slowly walked away.

???: " Why?" She asked while she clearly had her guard up.

Y/N: " You're hungry, aren't you? Let's get something to eat." I said before she soon started to follow behind me.

Time skip To Restaurant
We both sat down before a waiter came and took our orders. She still seemed cautious so I had to initiate the conversation.

Y/N: "I never got your name." I said as she stared at me.

Sona: " It... It's Sona" she said hesitantly.

Y/N: " I'm Y/N. It's a pleasure to meet you Sona." I said as we both continued eating in silence.

Eventually I got up and headed the restroom, leaving Sona alone, ignorant to what was about to happen.

No one P.O.V
While Y/N was in the restroom, 3 middle aged men approached Sona while she was eating. " Hello there. I noticed that your friend has left you all alone. Why don't you ditch him and come with us, so we can show you some fun." The 3 men said with perverted grins on their faces. "No thank you." Sona replied while continuing her meal. " Come on. It will be fun." One man said while the others agreed with him. "I'm sorry but no." She said upsetting the men. After finishing her meal, she stood up and walked away. Though before she could reach the door one of the men grabbed her arm. " I tried to ask nicely, but you just had to be difficult" he said as he pulled her towards himself. She then kicked the man in his stomach, causing him to release his grip on her arm. Using this opportunity, she ran at full speed away from the men. After running for a few minutes the men caught up to her and grabbed her hair. " You bitch!!!" He shouted as they threw he into the nearby alleyway. The two other men the held her down while he started to grope her. " Please stop" she shouted as they gagged her mouth with a cloth. The man then started to spread her legs, while the other two had smiles on their faces. With tears streaming down her face she thought 'Someone please help me.'

Y/N P.O.V
I came back to the table to notice that Sona was gone. I also saw that the 3 men who were sitting behind us were gone aswell. This worried me and I quickly ran out of the restaurant searching for her. I ran for a few minutes until I heard noises nearby. I followed the noises, leading me to a dark alleyway and what I saw made my blood boil. I saw Sona being held down by two of the men with a gag in her mouth, while the other man slowly spreading her legs while removing her clothes. One man saw me and yelled " Hey, move along. This doesn't concern you". I stood there in silence while he yelled at me again. "Hey. Are you dea-". Before he could finish, his body was sliced into pieces. The other men stared at the bloody mess that was once a person with fear on their faces. Before they could turn to face me, I had already sliced off their heads, causing their bodies to drop to the ground, spilling blood. I quickly go to remove the gag from Sona's mouth and take her back to the inn.  During the walk to the inn, she was completely quiet and seemed to be in shock. When we arrived at her room, she gripped on to me and cried until she fell asleep. For the next few days I spent time comforting her and eventually she got better. For each day that went by, she started to trust me a little more. We became good friends and soon left the small village, to travel together.

Our year long journey was the best time of my life. Everyday I noticed how beautiful Sona really was and how much I needed her. I loved everything about her. From her shiny silver hair, to her soft, porcelain skin, I loved it all. Eventually I realised that Sona felt the same way and we became lovers.

Every time I hugged her, I could feel my heart dance happily, and when we kissed, I felt true happiness. The only person I had ever smiled for was her. She was the last thing in this world that was precious to me. But soon, like everything else that I loved, this world took her from me.

The rain was falling but I didn't care. She was gone, but I didn't care. I held onto her lifeless body for hours in that rain. I felt hot, but cold at the same time. I didn't want to stay in this dreadful world any longer. All I could do was cry. I didn't feel rage like the other times, I just felt pure sadness. I didn't know what to do, or where to go, because I always followed her. She was everything to me, and since she's gone now, I have no more purpose. I carried her to the top of the cliff, and dug her a grave with my bare hands. I stared at the black clouds who seemed to be sad that she was gone aswell. After I mourned her death, I just left. I stopped crying and I stopped feeling.  I roamed the land until I found a cave north of her grave, which I made my new home. That night, I had to sleep without her for the first time in a year. I then sat against the damp wall and slowly fell alseep, hoping that I would soon be released from this nightmare.
