PERSONALITY - akari is a very outgoing person. she's friendly, loud and energetic, and usually takes the first step first. she's also very hardworking, although she sometimes pushes herself beyond her limits.
she may be cocky at times too, her self-confidence usually going over the top, causing her to look arrogant. akari, however, lacks the ability to lead. she's too spontaneous, always charging in head first without thinking about the consequences. she's also very stubborn, although that trait disappears once on court.
BACKSTORY - haruto akari grew up in a poor household in hyogo prefecture. her father had walked out of the family since she was born, and her stepfather wasn't at all nice either. akari's parents had always struggled financially, and that increased when she was enrolled into a prestigious and well-known middle school.
since young, akari had a passion for anything that required her to jump around. she loved basketball, badminton, plays, singing, anything outside of sitting down in class and reading out of dead trees. it wasn't until age ten when she found out about volleyball.
akari met the miya twins and a foreigner, aran ojiro, and became good friends with them. being in the same volleyball youth team, they met on the daily. akari also showed prodigious abilities in volleyball, and so she was coaxed into joining her middle school volleyball team. it wasn't until when she enrolled into inarizaki did she start to play seriously on the court.
at age seventeen, her stepfather walked out once more, which only left her mother and herself. the debts increased, and wanting to lessen her mother's burden, akari worked part-time jobs which would sometimes lead to her over-exhausting herself.
but in the end, she managed to drag her family out of debt's claws when she became the youngest national athlete playing for japan's women's volleyball team at age eighteen right after she graduated.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION - akari had always been tall for her age. she has long, slender legs and an overall slightly muscular physique. she has ass and boobs, if you're wondering.
HAIR COLOUR // LENGTH - her original hair colour was dark brown, but she dyed it ash-blond with black highlights at age fifteen before enrolling into inarizaki. - akari has never let her hair go pass her shoulders before, so it's always messy, shoulder length hair.
EYE COLOUR - amber. gold honey-like colour.
