The Arrival To Yokohama

It'd been a stressful night, for a first you had that dream haunting you every night you could even sleep, then you got interrupted in your peaceful flight, and then you proceeded to be kidnapped by the port-mafia, you did manage to escape but you were completely drained, and when you got that drained, and still pushed, your body would do everything it could to stop you from going further, your skin would start to tear, making blood pour out of you. This would cause you to lose control of your wings and you'd fall, from whatever height you were at. However, you were so determined to get away from those monsters you didn't notice how high you were, your wings start to give in, pulling back into your body. You fall from quite a height, landing in front of what looked like a cafe, just a few minutes after falling, you start losing consciousness, your vision going cloudy, gradually becoming darker. On the edge of consciousness you just barely notice the small black-haired male rushing to your side, he appeared to be wearing a brown hat, along with a brown cape, quite an unusual style is your thought.
 
"Hey Junichiro, help me get her inside, she looks really damaged, unfortunately, she'll have to go to Yosano." The unusually clothed male says to his ginger colleague.

From that point on you, having felt safe enough to, lose consciousness. You begin to open your eyes, finding yourself in a dark room, strapped to a metal table, you're hardly awake, but wish you hadn't lost your consciousness now, as it did not look safe at all. As you're talking to yourself in your head, wishing you hadn't pushed yourself that far, a woman walks out of the darkness, she had black shoulder-length hair, with a butterfly accessory clipped into it, the butterfly make you feel a tad safer, until she looked at you, with the expression of a psychopath. 

"Hi kid, what happened, you look really beat up, but no worries, I'll fix you, now this is going to hurt just a tad?" As she speaks, you notice her right arm coming into view, dragging a massive blade, she lifts it above her head, and chops straight down into your chest, laughing like someone who'd gotten possessed in their sleep. From this point on, you don't know what happens because you'd blacked out from the mere terror of her facial expression and large blade, slicing through you. 

-----A Few Hours Later-----

Rather than waking up in a dark room, which you'd expected to die in, you wake in a comfortable bed, the sun shining through the window as it rises, as you admire the sun you thought you'd never get to see again, you don't notice a bandaged brunette walking toward you. You finally realise, when he grabs your hand lightly placing it on his, making your heart jump.

"Wow, you're beautiful, perfect, you're the one-" He says in such a normal manner it scares you.

"The one for what exactly...?" You ask in a worried curiousness.

"Ma'am, would you do the honour of committing double suicide with me!?!?!" He asks, looking you in your E/C coloured eyes, his full of hope.

As you stare at the suicidal maniac in the eyes, worried for his poor brain, a blonde man walks in, re-adjusting his glasses onto his nose, before grabbing the brunette by the collar and dragging him out the room screaming "DAMN IT DAZAI YOU IMBECILE, YOU CAN'T JUST DO THAT TO EVERY WOMAN YOU SEE IT'S RUDE!!!", this is the first thing that had made you laugh in years, it brings tears into your eyes, as they almost fall over the edge of your eyelid, the same black-haired male walks in.

"Hi," He says practically throwing a gummy bear into his mouth, then reaching into the bag for another, "I hope Dazai didn't scare you too much, or Yosano for that matter".

"Hi, don't worry, your friend didn't scare me too much, he made me laugh actually, and I haven't in years" You look down at your legs in sorrow, the male notices reaching his bag out, offering you one of his gummy bears, you take one and say "Wow, these are nice, also, as for your friend Yosano, she was pretty scary, I thought that would be my end if I'm honest" he lets out a small breathy laugh, "I'm Ranpo, it's nice to meet you," he says with a childish smile on his face, instantly warming your heart. "I'm Y/N L/N," You say, knowing it was safe to speak to him. However, his face locks in a very shocked manner, he turns around opening the door and coming back in with the blonde from earlier.

"Kunikida, this is Y/N L/N," Ranpo says looking to the male called Kunikida for his reaction.

"Wait, THE Y/N L/N!?!?" His eyes widen in shock, "The port-mafia have been after her for years, no wonder she was so beat up", as he speaks, Dazai, from earlier, walks back through the door, holding a file.

"She has quite an astonishing ability," He says handing the file to Kunikida, "It's called 'One With Wings' it grants her a pair of crow-like wings, and control of the element, air, however" he pauses, lowering his eyebrows from their surprised position, to make his face look more serious, "Overusing that ability will affect one's body, causing cuts to form, hence why she turned up with all those cuts, and not just that, you lose control of the wings, making you plummet from whatever height, there's no stopping it, she's just, well, sort of lucky that she landed on our doorstep, Yosano has healed her, and she's good as new, but she's extremely lucky she didn't land on the port-mafia's" you shudder at the monstrous name, feeling your blood boil.

"What is it Y/N?"Kunikida questions.

"Well, it's quite obvious," Dazai continues, "Great power, the port-mafia are clearly after her"

"Th-they killed my parents", you say as your blood boils, even more, you'd never been able to control your anger, so you cry it out, Ranpo handing you your own pack of gummy bears, you look up at him, giving him a warm smile. You wipe your tears and begin eating the sweets.

"I believe it's time we leave our guest to rest, come on, we have work to do too." Kunikida says, once again pushing his glasses up, they all exit the room, leaving you alone. 

'I don't remember the last time I felt that happy' you think to yourself, feeling glad you met them, but then it hit you, you couldn't stay, these people could be in danger if you stayed. Finishing the sweets Ranpo had kindly given you, you'd gained some energy. You stand up, almost falling at first, but you slowly regain your balance, the energy from the food races through your body, sprouting your wings back out, you head to unlock the window, but notice some food next to it, with a note Ranpo had written while you were distracted listening to Dazai.

It read 'Hey Y/N, I knew you wouldn't want to stay, you worry that we'll get hurt, I understand, and I know there's no stopping you from going, so here are some snacks to keep you energised :)'
You pick up your bag, shoving the food and note inside, the note made you smile, and so you kept it to remind you of your first happy day in years, you zip up the back, tossing it over your neck and unlocking the window, you climb onto the edge and let yourself fall, your wings start to flap, you fly upward to make sure no one could see you and then flew for the trees...
