...And there he was.. hearing his parents talk from behind the door.

"Do we have to..? He's still a kid.." -said the mother.

"We have to, You know he's powerless, he's as useless as that wooden chair." -Replied the deep voice of the father.

"I guess you're right.."

"Now, since he's more attached to you, you should lead him to the far forest."

"H-Hey why me?!"

"Aren't you his mother? Both of us know he likes you more."

The mother remained silent.

"We'll talk tomorrow, for now let's just hit the sack or whatever"

"Alright.."

After hearing the argument, Dylan decided to sleep, after all tomorrow's a big day for him.
The next morning, the kid woke up tired, as if he was running.
As he went into the kitchen, the mother had a sad look on her face while his father, had a smirk.

"Ready to go on a trip kiddo?" -Said the father.

"Yeah.. i guess"

Dylan knew what was going to happen, but he didn't have the strength to argue with them, especially the father.
A few hours later, the family arrived in front of a forest.

"Alright D-Dylan now follow me." -said his mother hesitantly.

Dylan nodded, he didnt want to trouble his parents anymore so he just, Followed.

"Mom..?" -said the kid with a weak voice.

"A-Am sorry.." -replied his mum before running away.

"MOM?! MOTHER?!" The kid tried running after her but he tripped and fell on his head, causing him to pass out.

A few days later..

"M-My head.. ugh.. where.. am i..?" Said Dylan as he woke up.

"Oh! You're finally awake, Here let me help you."

A girl who was around Dylan's age started bandaging his head. "HEY GHOST! THE BOY WOKE UP!"

"Wha?" The person entered the room.
"Oh, hey there."

"Hi..? Who.. are you people..?" -Said Dylan.

"My names crystal! And this is Ghost, we found ya in the middle of the forest unconscious, are you okay?"

"I guess.. i guess they threw me away like i heard them.."

"Welp that should do" she was done bandaging his head.

"What's your name buddy?" Asked Ghost.

"Am.. Dylan.. Dylan waterleaf.."

"Its nice to meet ya! What were you doing in that forest man?"

"I.. It's none of your business.."

"Aaalrighty then, I'll go find us some food, see you later Crystal." And like that, Ghost left.

"So, Dylan was it? Do you have a place to stay at?"

"No.."

"I see, well if you want, you can stay with us until you find a place to stay at!"

Dylan stood silent for a second, and then replied.

"Why do you care..? We don't know each other.. Nor should you invite a stranger to your house."

"You don't have to know someone to be nice to them!" she smiled.

Dylan said and said "I'll just find a house or something.. thanks for the bandage i guess." He stood up and left.

"People usually get better when am kind to them, i wonder why it didn't work with this guy."

Meanwhile, at Dylan's old home.

"Why the hell are you still angry about it? He's long gone nor was he a good kid" Said the father in an annoyed tone.

"HE IS A GOOD CHILD! YOU MADE ME THROW HIM AWAY JUST BECAUSE HE'S POWERLESS!" A loud reply was made by the mother.

"Annabelle, calm down would you? Now you started caring about him? How sad."

"YOU'RE JUST A MANIPULATIVE PERSON, I SHOULD'VE LEFT YOU YEARS AG-"

"Sleep"

Annabelle fell unconscious due to the fathers sleep spell.
