Runaway

                                Chapter 1
    Tired of walking. Gone without food for three days. But to be away from her mother, it was worth it. Seeing any civilization was great. The poor girl, with no money, walked to a shop, hoping to find money somewhere on the ground. And luckily, she did. 10 dollars, lying on the ground. Since she ran away to somewhere close to Ilvermorny, this was the life of Meredith LeStrange.
                             Chapter 2
    Meredith walked up to the counter and ordered a drink. She quickly realized that she was the only british person there when two men approached her, both wearing Thunderbird Ilvermorny uniforms. "You're the missing LeStrange, aren't you?" one of them said. "So what if I was" said Meredith, setting down her drink,"it's none of your business, considering I don't even know you." her powers started to show, her hair turning red with fury.Although they didn't seem to notice. "Well, I thought you ran to Hogwarts, so shouldn't you be there?" said the man. "Evan, calm down. And she's right, it's none of your business." said the other man, pulling Evan back. "I'm Blake Briers." "...Meredith LeStr-" she started to say, but reconsidered. "Malfoy. Meredith Malfoy." she said, relieved that he believed her. "Beautiful name, Malfoy. Uh, see you around?" he asked. "Maybe, Brier. Bye." Meredith said, smiling as she walked out of the shop.  "Hey! Malfoy!" Mer heard someone say. She turned around. It was Blake. "Yes?" Mer said in confusion. "I was wondering... are you really a Malfoy?" Meredith's heart dropped. She might have to Obliviate him. "I- listen, I'm not supposed to be here and- I can't let people know that I'm a runaway." she said, holding back tears. "Why? I don't understand why it's so important to-" "I'm a LeStrange." Mer said, without thinking. "I'm sorry I- '' Blake started to say, but Meredith had already run off, in her animagus form of a phoenix. Blake looked up in regret, he had lost his only hope to save him.

"Bela, you know she won't accept, so why try to convince her?" Narcissa said with a worried look on her face. "Cissy, the Dark Lord will want her to be on our side! You know this!" Belatrix said, opening the door to see Meredith, practicing spells in her bedroom. "Mer, i have a question." she said. "Yes, mother?" Meredith said, dropping her wand out of surprise. "You have been chosen to become one of us. Do you accept?" Bela said, hoping to hear an amendment yes."why me? Why not, Draco? He would fight better than i could ever do." Meredith said, hoping not to be scolded by her mother. "See! I told you she wouldn't." Cissy said in a whisper to Bela. "Because it would be a disgrace to this family if you don't." Bela said in the tone Mer didn't want to hear. "Then let me be an outcast! Let me be a disgrace to this family! I don't care anymore! All i want is to go to Hogwarts and learn actual magic!" Mer said, her hair turning red, as with her eyes. "Leave. Leave This house and don't come back until you accept." Bela said in a horrible tone. "Bela, this is too far!" Cissy said, her face in shock. Bela ignored her sister's comment and pushed Meredith through the portkey.
