Shawn Mendes (part 1)

"Yeah, sure I'd love to assist...... No no, I don't have anything important. Yes, I do understand that it's for 2 months, I do get that...... I wouldn't have said yes if I had anything scheduled or any important plans. It's settled then! See tomorrow." I finally got off the phone, seriously this lady doesn't shut up.

"Who were you talking to?" My brother Nathan asked me.

"They need someone for the drums for Shawn's new tour."

"By Shawn, you mean Shawn Mendes?"

"Do you know any other singer who is called Shawn?" I asked him, sarcasm dripping from my tongue

"No, it's just, do you thin—" I interrupted him.

"Nathan, what happened was 4 years ago, I already got over it and I am pretty sure that he also got over it which means that you should get over it!" Obviously, I know that he's only asking because he's protecting his little sister but well, I know how to protect myself.

"Okay, as you say." He was about to get out of the room when I started speaking.

"Hey, Nathan."

"Yup?"

"Can you help me pack my suitcase?"

"Why can't you do it yourself?" He was pretty annoyed with me anyways.

"Because..."

"Because what?"

"Never mind, I'll do it myself." I got off the couch and made my way to my room in order to start packing since my flight is at 7:00 AM. Since I didn't know that I was going on a 2 months' tour, I didn't pack anything which really sucks.

I'm pretty sure that all of you are confused about what is going on, why am I going on a tour with Shawn, and why my brother thought it wasn't a good idea to go! Well, let me do a little recap about my life. My name is Lorelai Henderson, I've lived with my older brother Nathaniel my entire life since our parents died in a plane crash when I was around 1. Nathan is older than me by 11 years that's why he feels overly protective, he's just scared that he's gonna lose me like we lost mom and dad but what he doesn't is that I'm not going anywhere cause he's stuck with me forever since I am that clingy! For the whole Shawn situation, Shawn and I used to date 4 years ago and he left for no particular reason over a text and I was heartbroken for a bit of time but I learned that no one in this life is worth it so yeah, I couldn't care less about him anymore. I was 17 at the time, I'm 20 now so as I said, it's in the past and I don't care in more... okay maybe I do care, but just a tiny bit... OKAY, I STILL LOVE HIM! Happy now?

I finally finished packing and realized that I had to go to sleep because I'm waking up really early in the morning and I need my beauty sleep!

I swear to God I feel like I just closed my eyes! How the hell is the alarm going off right now? UGHHH! Why did I say yes??

I got dressed, grabbed an apple, took my suitcase and was about to call a cab when my phone was taken from my hand.

"You really think that I'm gonna let you go to the airport with a cab?" Nathan asked me, ahh well he still loves.

"Yes?"

"Just get your ass in the car."

"Okay"

The drive to the airport was filled with silence. Once we reached the airport and he got my suitcase out of the trunk, he walked me to my gate.

"I don't want you to go, I'll miss having you around to annoy me."

"Well, it's only 60 days, they'll be over and before you know it, I'll be there to annoy you." I smiled at him while he just chuckled.

"Just promise me that you'll take care of yourself?"

"Cross my heart." We hugged then I had to go.

"Long time no see." I heard as soon as I stepped foot on the plane (yes, it's a private jet for those who are asking).
