I don't know how long I stood there. I could hear the music still faintly playing in my ears while kids ran screaming past me and people laughed all around me. But I felt like everything had just shattered.
Dori walked towards me, her eyes looking in the same direction as mine,
"What'd he say?"
What should I tell her? What could I tell her? He'd said so much. Definitely everything I needed to hear...and then some. But it seemed that when I'd told him we were too different and we would never work...he'd heard me.
I felt tears rob me of breath as I turned my head to look at her. I breathed in short, shaky breaths,
"He said..." I swallowed.
I couldn't breath. Was this what people meant when they said someone was hyperventilating? I couldn't get breath into my lungs no matter how I tried. I reached forward to balance myself on her,
"Oh God..."
She reached out to hold my arm,
"Are you alright?"
I shook my head. I didn't know what to do. I was here to do a job. Sandy was counting on me.
Just as I was in the throes of an epic meltdown, everyone in the room started cheering. Dori looked up, craning her neck to see over my head,
"Ugh..." She groaned, "She's doing the bouquet."
I gathered myself quickly. I set my shoulders and I blinked back the tears and I reminded myself that I was a professional.
I nodded,
"Ok, get our cameras."
Dori stared at me, she was concerned. I squeezed her hand,
"I'm alright."
She quickly ran off to grab our equipment. While she was gone I did my best to fix my face so no one would know I'd been so close to breaking down. Dori handed me my camera. I turned to look at her,
"He said I love you." I blurted out. I ignored her wide eyed stare, "He told me he loved me."
She pulled me into her arms,
"Here's what we're gonna do...we're gonna finish this wedding and go back to our room..." She glanced back towards the door where Harry had just left, "And we're gonna figure this out."
I turned back around to take some more pictures. I tried to forget what had just happened and focus. I wasn't as sure these pictures were going to come out as I had been the others.

Dori stayed quiet when we got back to our room. Charles and Sandy had left moments earlier and that was it for me. I couldn't handle it any longer. I stood in front of my equipment while I packed it up. My mind was swimming. It was a good thing this was all instinct for me because I wasn't paying a single bit of attention to what I was doing.
I thought I was going to explode...or implode. Either way I felt like I was going to be sucked out of existence.
I whirled around suddenly, obviously shocking my sister as she gasped,
"He said he loved me."
Dori nodded,
"He did."
"Do you think he was serious? Because he sounded serious."
"I don't-"
"Like people don't just say that." I interrupted, "Do they?"
She clapped her mouth shut and gave a shrug of her shoulders. I nodded and turned back around to my equipment.
