Chp 1: I Refuse

"Mom you cannot beserious!" I stormed into my mom's room after receiving the information from May about the trip. "Honey, calm down. It'll only be a couple months. This is a once-in-a-lifetime trip. We will be just a phone call away," my mother replied calmly.

"That's not what I'm worried about!" I exclaimed. "The Reese family is the richest family in all of California! The kids will be snooty, and there will be 11 of them! I don't want to stay with them! Take me with you, I'll stay out of the way. The twins can go and so can Sam. You cannot force me to go."

My mother crossed her arms over her chest. "You will not be staying with the kids, you will be staying in separate bedrooms all the way across the house. It will be like staying at a resort. Plus, you get to skip the last couple weeks of school for this." That was a plus. "And the children might be nice. Don't jump to conclusions."

I stormed out of her room. I was planning on hanging out with Kayla or Rachel or Maylene, but now I couldn't. We had our whole summer planned out.

We would spend endless days at the beach, and look for a job there.

We would stay in Maylene's neighbors beach house that they were letting us stay in for free since they were going to Australia for the summer.

Her neighbor's son Jared wasn't going, so he would be dropping in and staying for a couple days every once in a while for a couple days. That would be a plus.

Their son was captain of the football team at our neighboring school, and we have seen him shirtless outside his house many times, and let me tell you, the view was pretty amazing.

But now, I had to tell my friends that I couldn't go. All because of the stupid Reese family. And my sisters. They both entered the contest, and Avaline won.

You to to take your whole family to the Reese's house to stay there for a couple months. I've only seen the place in pictures, but from what I've seen it's huge.

In the contest details they said that it would be like staying in the White House for a couple months. But I don't think that's what got my sisters. I think it's the fact that the Reese boys are not only the richest kids in California, but they're also probably the hottest. Seriously. They put Abercrombie models to shame.

There were 3 girls. One was the oldest of the children, she was 22. I think her name was Hannah. She was really pretty, and all of the boys always drooled all over her. She was on the cover of LOTS of magazines, and from what I've heard, they are pretty revealing pictures.

The next girl was about my sisters' age, which was 19. Her name was Bella, and she played football. The only reason I know this is because I've been to one of her games. She was better than most of the boys that I had seen. But, she was a total girly-girl.

The last girl I've heard if is Sierra. She is the youngest of all of the children, and she is about 11 or 12. The poor girl. All of the girls were either way older than me, or way younger. But I knew there were some 15 year old boys there too. Lucky me.

There were 9 boys. That was the biggest reason why all of the girls liked them.  The oldest boy was 22. He was Hannah's twin. He had dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He was very reserved, and very quiet. There were nver any magazines about him, no shows, no news. They say that he used to be really fun, and then his girlfriend cheated on him, and he lost everything. He dropped out of college, got fired from his job, and went back to live with his parents.

The next boy was Jack, he was 20. He was a brunette, with intense blue eyes. He was the "class clown" of the family. He had a girlfriend named Cassia. They say that he was a total tool sometimes, and that Cassia was the only one in the family who could mellow him out. In other words, the whole family loved her.

After Jack there was Sam. He was 18. He had just graduated from high school, and
