Chapter 4- The kiss

I see her pink plump lips make contact with his. I feel myself crumble inside. I see their lips start to move together. I feel my feet become unsteady. I see his hands around her waist , the kiss deepening. I feel any hope I had for the future die inside of me, as I watch him lead her down the street to the ice cream parlor. I follow in a haze. They share a sundae, and I sit in the corner alone. They sneak kisses in between scoops of frozen delight. I cry silently. I wish I could turn back time so that this day never happened. This day was the end of my hopes for the future with Sylvie. It has never been more clear that she has no feelings.

I wake up from the haze, the sounds of the diner slowly filling my ears as I snap back to reality. I see the two love birds giggling as they exchange saliva over a banana split. I realize I will start sobbing out loud if I don't get out of here soon. I slap a 10 on the counter and run out the door. I hear Sylvie call out for me and footsteps that only reach the door before they turn back to their 'soulmate'.

My back slides against the rough brick wall of Henderson's Pharmacy, not even caring about the scratches i'll get, because the part of me that matters is already broken.

6 days later

Sylvie finally stops trying to call me. I see her Instagram post announcing her relationship with Ayden, i hide under the covers. I avoid the world because i can't take anymore injuries. I see the two of them walking together to school every morning, I start taking a different route to school. I sit alone watching her at lunch i eat my food but it tastes like cardboard. I call in sick for a day and just lay in bed crying. I relieve the memories of us in my head and try to let go.

Sylvie

Aydens lips start moving against mine, he pulls my hips towards him as he deepens the kiss. His tongue brushes against my bottom lip asking for entrance. I open my mouth to allow him in. his hands move up and down my body. We pull away for air and he grabs my hand and runs across the street to the 57 diner we order a banana split and sneak kisses in-between scoops of heaven on earth. I barley notice Calvin sitting in the corner. Suddenly he slams a 10 on the counter and runs out the door.

"Calvin!" i yell as he runs out the door, "Calvin!"

I feel a large hand on my shoulder," let him go," Ayden whispers. "You have to let him go."

He looks around nervously before leading me back to our stools. "Hey Sylvie," he stumbles nervously.

"Yeah," i answered but more questioned.

He fidgets with his fingers, "will you be my girlfriend?" i answer by pulling him into a deep passionate kiss and i hear people in the diner cheering.

In the next few days Calvin started avoiding me. I probably should have been more worried but i was too caught up in Ayden, that i let my best friend slip away.

A/N: hey yall, i was wondering if i should add sin to this book? I was planning on having one very un descriptive love seen but i mean this is wattpad... what do yall think?
