Rivals,friends,or something eles?

The transfer student.

~Josephine's POV~

'Oh no no no no no! I'm gonna be late for school again! My homeroom teacher warned me that if I were late again he would punish me.'

I grabbed my toast placed it in my mouth and ran out of home "Bye Mom! See you soon!" I yelled out and rode of in my bike and quickly as possible.

The bell rang just as I got in class "Oh thank god I'm not late again" I said trying to catch my breath and soon after Mr.Lopez came in class "Hello Ms.Cross" Mr.Lopez said while hitting my head lightly with his book "Ow! Mr.Lopez I wasn't late why did you hit me?" I said as I looked up at him.

"No food in my class." He said while pointing at the toast that was still in my mouth. "Oh.Sorry Mr.Lopez!" I quickly ate the toast as I started walking towards my seat.It was all the way in the back next to the window where I could see everything.

"Okay now we are gonna talk about ideas for our school festival that is in two weeks.Does anyone have any suggestions?" The class leader said and soon everyone raised there hand and gave out suggestions.I didn't pay much attention since I didn't really care much about it really.

I just looked out the window just then a boy came running in class.He looked as if he just woke up and ran to school as quickly as possible.His brown hair was in a bed head the buttons on his shirt were put in the wrong place and he still had some toast in his mouth. "I-I'm sorry I'm late!" He said as he tried to catch his breath.

At first I thought he was in the wrong class.I was just left there wondering who he was. "Oh don't worry Mr.Williams you did have a long flight after all I understand.Present yourself to the class, please."Mr.Lopez said.

"Oh yes! Hello I'm Johnathan Alexander Smith but I prefer you all to call me by my middle name.I'm from England and moved to America because of my Father's Job.It is nice to meet you all." Alexander said and then bowed.

"Okay Mr.Williams your seat will be next to Ms.Cross. Ms.Cross please do raise your hand."Mr.Lopez said and so I did soon after Alexander saw me and sat down next to me.

"Hello I'm Josephine Lorain Cross.It's nice to meet you Alexander." I said as I put out my hand. "Oh yes it is nice to meet you as well Josephine." He said while he shaked my hand and soon after started fixing himself.

His face looked so familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it.I guess I'll find out one way or another.
