Meanwhile Sasha has to defend the RAW Women's Championship against Bayley on her hometown in San Jose, California.

Alexa: Ooooh, does that hurt you Sasha? Well I don't care, but I'm gonna make you a deal, if Adam hot Cole retains tonight, tomorrow on RAW I want you two in a mixed tag team match, and if my team wins, My partner will be Universal champion and I will be RAW Women's champion.
Sasha: You're on.
(Backstage)
Adam: That's some guts you just had babe, but, are you sure that's a good idea?
Sasha: Of course, I swear to God I'm gonna kill that bitch Alexa tomorrow.
Adam: Well that's tomorrow, now, I'm gonna defend my Universal title.

Adam pinned Johnny after hitting his new finisher, the Last Shot and retained the Universal championship, but just like Sasha, Adam's celebration was cut short by someone with a hoodie that couldn't see his face, but after he hit a spear, the person took of the hood and it was Roman Reigns, still bitter about losing that number 1 contenders match at the RAW after Wretlemania and showing slowly his heel persona, it came on full effect at Payback at the expense of Adam Cole.
