It was Gon freeccs, age 14, 8th grade, first day at his new school. Mito-san always said to make friends at any time possible, well I guess this is what she meant

Gons pov:

I walked to my new school and sighed as I stared at the big glass doors, this is it. I walked in and dragged my feet to my first class. Hm, science? I looked at my schedule, where is room 304? I stood there in confusion looking at my paper when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around and a saw a boy who was about my height, maybe an inch taller. He had white messy hair and a jean jacket vest, rings and a lollipop in his mouth.

"lost?" He said with a cute smile. 

"heh, yeah" I said a little intimated, the boy took my hand and looked at my schedule

"science, not my strong suit" He dragged me to my science class and looked at the teacher, "sorry I'm late Miss Bisky, had to help Gon find his class" How did he know my name, must of saw it on my schedule, clever bastard. 

"well I'm glad you did something good for once, Killua" He looked at me with a worried smile. Killua is his name? that's cool. "Gon, unfortunately you sit right near Killua, good luck he's a bit out of hand. If he causes problems let me know" I nodded and took my seat, what did she mean by he was out of hand? He must be a class clown...

*Timeskip, authors pov*

Gon stood in the large cafeteria, with nowhere to sit. He sighed just when he saw Killua, waving his hand for Gon to come over to his table.  Gon walked over with hesitation.

"Hey!" Killua said to Gon, with a warm smile. Gon noticed Killua's skateboard.

"Hi, do you skate? that's so cool!" Gon said in amazement, he always thought skating was pretty cool.

Killua blushed and tried to act cool, "Eh, it's nothing, I've been skating for years. Anyway, what's your next class Gon?"

"Oh, History" Gon replied, he tumbled his thumbs.

"No way, me too!" Killua smiled wide and patted Gon on the back.

*Timeskip, 2 weeks*

Gon and Killua had been friends for 2 weeks, they sat in Gon's room for a school project. 

"wow, you're a nerd Gon" Killua joked walking past all of Gon's books and perfect scored test.

"or is it that you're just not smart Kil?" Gon joked back, rolling his eyes. Killua stuck his tounge out at him. "anyway, what are we going to do for this project?"

"I don't know, you're the smart one? " Gon sighed. "I have a much funer idea anyway!" Killua said with excitement

"Funer is not a word Killua, anyway, what were you thinking about?" Gon replied

"Follow me!" Killua grabbed Gon's hand and ran to an abandoned skatepark.

"W-where are we? Is this illegal, Mito-sans going to kill me" Gon protested

"shut up and stop stressing out spaz-ball, were here to have fun!" Killua grabbed his skateboard and tried to teach Gon how to ride it

*Timeskip* It was getting dark so they decided to head back to Gon's house

"Killua, can I tell you something?" Gon put his head down

"Hm? what is it?" Killua said confused

"W-well, I kind of like you, but if you don't like me back that's fine!!" Gon said, immediately regretting his decision. Was he stupid or something? Killua would never like him back, he was way out of his league. Well, there's no going back now...

Killua paused and blushed, "I like you too, but its whatever..." The two stood in silence.

"Look, Killua...as much as I would like you to be my boyfriend...we can't date unfortunately..." Gon said, embarrassed

"w-what, why?!" Killua said shocked, was Gon just fucking with him? What an asshole!

"D-don't get mad! It's just that... Mito-san doesn't really like you.."

"What! Why the hell not? Is she homophobic?! does she not approve of you liking dudes?! I'll beat her ass!" Killua clenched his fist, steam practically coming out of his ears.

"N-no Killua, it's not like that! It's just...she thinks you're a bad kid..." Gon began to tear up, he hated when people yelled. Killua noticed and just froze, he hugged Gon and whispered in his ear, "guess we will just have to secretly date" Killua snickered. 

"guess so" Gon replied with a smirk.
