Olympus Forgets

During the time that Percy is gone.

Artemis's POV

8 years after Percy went away. 

These past 8 years have been pretty miserable. Without Perseus to cheer us up the mood on Olympus was worse than ever. The only person who seemed to be happy was Poseidon and Hestia. Although I have my suspicions about them, I do think that they prove as a reminder that the gods can still be happy. 

To me, I think that Olympus is starting to forget about its newest Olympian god. The first months no one seemed to mind, but I knew that he didn't want to be found, because 1) his scent had completely disappeared off the face of the earth. 2) he has escaped me and no one does that. 

I have been searching for him nonstop for these past few months because my father has ordered me to find the lost god. He explained to me that he wants to find him and check upon him to see how he is handling. 

He respects his wish to be isolated from the mythological world, but I suspected his paranoia wants him to be found and wants to know that he hasn't turned evil, and that Olympus's best fighter is still in our world of the living. 

So with that being said I was on the hunt in the western half of the country. I had instructed my hunters to remain vigialnte as I am on a solo hunt to let off some steam. 

The forest always calms me. The life and ecosystem are always like a bustling community, but that community is not thriving anymore, which gives me cause for concern because my domain of nature was being blocked, and I could only come up with one solution.

Either a Titan was close or Gration was near me. This deduction caused my unworldy senses become even sharper. The only person who could sneak up on me was Orion. Ugh. I don't even know why I said that boy's name. 

Coincendtally, a person came up behind me and before I could react, the person said,

"Now I have snuck up on the mighty huntress." A voice said.

He covered my mouth with some sort of rag and I started to inhale the air and my head started to get knocked out. 

The last thing I saw and thought was a giant staring at my body lustfully, and he had a wicked smile on his face, looking like he would do something terrible. 

"Gration", I thought. 

In Tartarus

Artemis is captured 

Location: River Lethe

Artemis POV:

I started to wake up and the first thing my senses picked up was the smell of sulfur and I immediately knew from the countless times I had encountered monsters with this smell on their hide, I knew I was in Tartarus. 

Next, I heard voices. Hushed voices. All I could make out was 

"We will dunk her... Mine.... no mother .... share....fine..... get on with it." 

Then I felt hands on me and they dragged me river sound, and I couldn't see which river it was so now I was getting especially worried because some rivers in the underworld and Tartarus are worse than even residing in one of the two places. 

Without warning, the hands thrust me under the rivers surface and I could now tell, which river this was. It was the Lethe, and I started to frantically struggle to try and get out of the hands of my captor, or Gration, and get out of the river while I still had my memories left. Over the next couple of minutes I could tell that I was going to loose all of my memory, so I quickly cast a spell on myself, where only the one true love could be able to touch me, if I allowed him/her to do so. (I am not implying anything here.) As the last of my memories were washed away I could only remember my name, my hunters name's like Zoë, Thalia, Phobe, and Atlanta. I guess the fates were on my side today, as I was suddenly able to see and I could remember nothing of my old life except those that I just mentioned, and a message from someone. 

"Only true love can break the curse of the Lethe. Find him." It said. 

All I know is that I'm in an ocean with a bikini on and I see a small island with a big house on it, and I just start to swim towards it.
