"I don't know what is going on... But I'm here to listen if you need someone to talk to. After all, you did wake me up from your screaming, so the least you can do is tell me what's going on. But only when you are ready." Sung-min smiles and walks toward me with a glass of water.I still sat there, shaking, and sweating. Just as I became aware of that, Sung-min seemed to have noticed too. He looks at me with an even more concerning look on his perfect face, that look doesn't suit him very well. "Come here." He says. He sits down on the corner of the bed and pats next to him.
I crawl over to him sheepishly, and swing my legs over the edge of the bed. I look over to see him smiling, his eyes meet mine and the room suddenly goes silent. I can no longer hear even the low hum of the generators, only the shallow breaths of both him and me.
He hands me the glass of water and presses the back of his hand against my forehead. "I think you might have a fever, where do you keep thermometers?" He gets up and starts to walk down the hallway. "In the bathroom cabinet, next to medicine." My shaky voice squeezed out.
He came back with medicine and a thermometer and took my temperature. "38°C, you do have a fever. Take this with the water and lay back down, I am staying with you tonight." He handed me the medicine and tucked me back in to bed.
He wets a wash cloth and lays it over my eyes. "You are not alone." He whispers into my ear. He hugs me and doesn't let go. "Sweet dreams." He says softly. I now know, that everything is going to be alright.
