Ollie Sidebottom has been in foster care since she could remember. Her parents hadn't wanted her, no one did.
She wasa very lonely girl. Everyone thought she was weird so they didn't want to be her friends. She hated her last name so she kind of gave herself a new one.
She was tired of being sent home to home. She finally had enough so she ran away from this abusive home she was at.
She was only fourteen, a child who had to learn to live on the streets. She searched for months about her birth parents.
She finally found them, Hanna and Graham Sidebottom. They lived on a island in England. She booked a ticket on a ferryboat to take her there.
After getting there, she had no place to go. She was scared to meet the people who left her. But instead of meeting them, she met her twin sister Becky.
Now she was even more hurt.
She basically ran off again, that's what she was best for anyway. Then Ollie stumbled upon a trapped horse, a beautiful thing. She hated horses, she was never around one so they freaked her out. But seeing that scared horse stirred something inside her.
That horse was a lot like her, abandoned and alone. Someone just left that horse there, never to return.
Ollie managed to break the lock to free her. The beautiful horse had ran off.
Ollie was alone once again. She made a bed on the beach for the night. And when she woke up, a horse was nudging her face.
It scared Ollie enough to scream.
From that day forward, that horse wouldn't leave Ollie alone. A bond formed between the girl and the horse.
