Prince's Maid--discontinued

Double the Work

They hoped off the giant rock. Sasuke couldn't keep his eyes off naruto while he walked ahead 'just friends huh' sasuke thought to himself. He tried not to look so sad they walked...walked...and walked.
They had finally reached the dirt path all of a sudden Prince stopped walking looked down and turned around to face sasuke...
"I'm sorry..." said naruto in a sad tone
"For what?"
"Your gonna get in trouble aren't you... ya know for me dragging you out here without any guards..."
"Well perhaps but i'm sure i'll be fine"
"Hmm...I see... well then I guess i'll just have to protect you"
Sasuke blushed. They took off heading back to the castle. 'Whats wrong with me.. he's the damn prince what chance do I have..i'm just another commoner.' Sasuke thought to himself.
They walked down the dirt path together. The silence was no more for they could hear the tree's swaying. The crickets singing into the night. The dark getting closer by the minute.
Naruto knew sasuke would have to get his things and leave for his house. "I'm guessing you're gonna leave after this?" Said naruto with sigh of disappointment. "Yeah I just need to get my things and go".
Immediately after opening the gates to go inside a wave of guards came questioning the two boys. Like "Who goes there?" And "why are you outside the walls without a guard?". They obviously got in quite some trouble.
One was for sure and that was that naruto meant what he said "i'll just have to protect you" were the exact words. He tried his hardest so Sasuke wouldn't get in all that much trouble.
"Why were you out so late? And you had NO guards!" The king turned to sasuke "I mean aren't you here to make sure the prince dosent do Idiotic things?!" King Minato yelled at Sasuke.
"Dad don't be so harsh on him. I mean I am here in one piece aren't I?"
"No... it's my fault...I shouldn't have let you go it's my fault."
Sasuke was then given double the work as punishment. Prince couldn't help but feel so guilty for he was the one whom caused this mess.
With all the amount of work given to the maiden/assistant They were away from each other all day.
His fencing practice ended quicker than usual. He went to the bathroom to clean up, because he had gotten sweaty. He walked down the halls to a giant white door. Inside was his piano lesson. Naruto didn't have any interest in piano, he found it difficult. But king Minato said it was good for him. The lesson lasted about two hours.
He had forgotten about the whole outside the walls with no guards situation and was looking to see sasuke in his room.
(sasuke cleans around while prince is at practice also schedules everything)
Passed the painting room. Down the dim lit hallway. Big orange door in view. When he arrived to the room that was clean but nobody waiting for his arrival.
Usually he would find the maiden/assistant folding the last of the towels or cleaning the windows. But he walked in on a tidy room with nobody to welcome him. He plopped down on the bed it was 4:03 in the afternoon 'in 2 hours sasuke will leave for home...' naruto thought to himself
He decided to wander the halls to keep him from catching boredom. Down the dim lit hallway. Passed three random guest rooms. Down the stairs that creaked in every step he took. He decided to grab an apple from the kitchen.
He walked down to the back. There he saw Sasuke rushing to go deliver something. "Hey look there's sasuke!" He said quietly with joy. He decided to not bother him because he looked busy. He decided followed him instead to ask if he needed help when he finished the delivery.
"Medical wing huh? I guess he's delivering medicine then?" naruto said quietly. "Here are the ingredients you ordered" sasuke said with a heavy breath "Ah yes thank you very much Mr.Uchiha"Tsunade said with a sigh of relief. "Sure anytime. See you around." Sasuke said still trying to catch his breath.
He turned around to leave and saw Prince Naruto standing there smirking. "Oh umm didn't expect to see you here" sasuke said a little surprised. They started walking. "Feels like I haven't seen you in forever" prince said in a whiny voice. Sasuke just chuckled "It's only been a day"
"We're usually together all day"
Sasuke blushed "well its only for today and tomorrow then it'll go back to normal"
"Oh ya that reminds me, do you need any help?"
"No I'm ok I just need to deliver 4 more things then I'll be done for the day"
"I can help you carry things! please?"
"I really don't think that's necessary and you shouldn't over work yourself"
"Oh ya look who's talking" Prince chuckled.
Sasuke agreed and they started walking to the exit of the medical wing.
"I'm guessing you've been the delivery boy of the day" naruto chuckled.
"Yeah, it's actually a lot more work than I thought and very tiring" sasuke just stretched because he was sore.
"Yeah sorry about that. I mean it is all my fault, I chose to not listen." prince rubbed his neck in pity.
"It's no problem really it takes my mind off everything when I get busy."
They walked passed the garden in silence. Well except for the dirt crunching by every step
