Chapter 2 : The city of engladian and the mysterious girl

「Capital City, Englandian, February 18,2089」

Ezekiel was startled, he was no clue where that beep sound came from, he stand directly and go away from the busy road and he seem to be afraid to the cars.

What is that thing hovering ang has a loud sound, maybe thats the guard of this land;"murmured by me and was shocked"

I was walking along the sidewalk looking at the people wears beautiful clothes, While i was walking by i stumbled up on a paper(newspaper) and i was so frozed, I was started shaking and my eyes widen up. Because i see that this world that i got time warped in. Is in he year of 2089 maybe this is some of mistake.

While i was walking by I sat on a bench near the park and sees the people happy and being friendly to each other, is there any noble status in this world?. I started talking to one of the person that walks by.

Is the queen still rule this country?;"confidently questioned him"

There is no queen that ruled this country, we call the one who rules this country a president not a queen or king.;"smiles with a disgust in his eyes"

I was walking by the dark alley, I was closed to a group of boys who stand between a tight space within I walked. One of the boys has a thing inside his pockets. And one of them called me.

Yo!, kid have some money there?;"grinning from ear to ear"

I was just walking not listening to what they said, i was unconciously thinking a way back home how to transport myself back to my hometown.

The one man grabs my shirt and pulls me back and points a sharp thing at me, and the other man pointed a metal thing with a barrel(gun).

I dont have money, so plss spare me!;"closed my eyes"

While i closed my eyes i feel a breeze of air flowing through my body and waves my hair back and forth but i still feel the mans hand on the back of my shirt, but I dont feel standing on a concrete block or any hard on my foot, i tried to comfront one of the man who is holding me.

Why you wont let go off me?;"afraidly speaks as I go with my words"

If I would let go you would die and crushed all your bones.;"said in a cold way"

I thought a man was holding me, but I hear a voice of a girl.

Where's the man that holds me, am I safe now?, once I open my eyes slowly i see the city lights and i was confused why am i floating?, and i looked up to the girl that is holding me. I see her anKle has a rune or ancient pattern of a angel wings, and glows like mine but her's are color green and its associated with a wind that allows her to fly and move in the air in a blink of an eye.

Hey where did you get your rune pattern from?;"asked by me"

I get this while I was born, my family abandons me that they see my rune;"cold voice that sooths her beauty well"

We are the same i was born with a hourglass rune in my chest and its associated with time and lets me control the time and teleports me from any places randomly;"said by me excitedly"

I was happy and my tears drop, I thought I was the only one who has this kind of power and i was different to others. But here I am with a supernatural person beside me, we go down on a silent side of the park.

What is your name by the way? Im ezekiel by the way, Im 14.;"said by me"

Im Maria and im 14 the same age as you;"in a cold tone"

I was shocked when i see that she has some wounds on her left arm and was drastically bleeding maybe thats the wound of the time that she saved me from that ugly bastards.

We were walking by and has finally came to a halt, we stop and think to depart. I was going to a different direction and she was going on the opposite direction.

What I was planning to do is to avenge her from that guys who hurt her, I owe her my life for saving me. But im not weak either to be saved from a small talk.

And I was come to this situation that I was heavily thinking of a way to avenge Maria and teach them a lesson and let them feel pain, while I was thinking something glow to my ankle as same position as what Maria runes are placed, as i covered the light source that lights a small area that comes from my ankle.

I slowly take my hands and see a lighting pattern rune on my ankle this lets me associated with lightning and speed, I was pretty confident because i had another rune and came to a chance that I can avenge Maria drom those guys.

While i was thinking of a solution to deal with those guys I finally find them, they speaks on the corner of the street i pick a branch and think of it as a sword.

I was focusing my mind to activate my rune and it glows, it gave me the ability to gain an blink of an eye speed and take the chance to beat this guys.

I release all my power and swing all my might to the vital spots of the boys and they was on the ground lying and unconsious.

While i was walking done on the sidewalk act in courage of beating those guys I see Maria on the bench on the park, lonely. I accompanied her and tells everything but I was shut until I see her form her fist and her tears drop.

Why would you that you risked your life just to avenge me?, am I that weak that you could even avenge me?, why am I born weak.;"crying while letting her words go out"

I was speechless and I could'nt say a word, maybe she has the point.

She comes closer to me and leans toward me.

Ezekiel, plss dont do it again im afraid to loss another person I loved,;"cries while waiting for my reply"

Yes Maria i got you, I wont do it again I Promise;"smiles"

Thats the first time i felt the soft side of Maria i thought she was as tough as a elephant and strong as a lion. But she was so cute and beautifule in her soft side.

I had a glimpse of the two man who injured both of us, I guarded Maria with my back while the man pointed hes gone from afar and fires, mt chest glows bright and was hoping to teleport us on a another place faster.

While I was guarding her my body feels warmth and my hand and feet feels cold, I feel the breeze of wind and see a vast scenery of mountains and a grassyland which I see Maria and I lying in to while I was hugging her.

While I was touching my back because it hurts so bad, I see a giant tree near our location and thats amazing to see a giant and very tall tree and dazzling and sparkling as a tge stars, when I raised my hand. I see blood scattered on my palm as I slowly losing consiousness, and I see the face of Maria worried about me.
