Exactly 7 minutes Taehyung's flight take off, Jungkook finally waking up alone.
Doctors and Nurses came in to check his condition thoroughly. They're delighted that he's doing so well!
Surely, he felt disheartened. No one is around the moment he's awake, but Jungkook just smiled back. He didn’t seem to have the capacity to speak at the moment. It didn’t matter because he was awake and Taehyung could cry with happiness.
But what he did not know is, Taehyung had already left. Leaving him alone. Leaving him to recover by himself.
"Where is everyone? Did they all got tired visiting me everyday? oh, wait-- how long I have been admitted?" Jungkook sit up and asked to no one.
As if on cue, NamJin, YoonMin, Hoseok, Jackson and Jong Suk burst into the room. Everyone approaches him and one by one hugged him dramatically sobbing.
"Kookie, how are yuu....?" Jimin tilted his head asked as he sat on the bed infront of Jungkook.
"I'm tired and hungry."
"How? You've slept for seven months how can you still tired?" Hoseok blurred.
Jungkook's face fell as he blinked rapidly, "What are you saying? SEVEN MONTHS?! Ok, not that long, but, no—" He literally confused.
"Taehyung? How is he?"
Seokjin sighed deeply as he rubbed Jungkook's back, "Kook, I need you to calm down alright. Taehyung is not here.. he left. I know we have an explanation to do but.. we will tell you once you're home."
His body tensed as if he had forgotten how to breath looking at Seokjin's visible bumps. So, it's true I'm in coma for 7 months? It means Seokjin due to give birth in two months or earlier.
Tears built in his eyes. He missed Taehyung, the boy he sworn to protect, but he didn't know how to reach out to him.
If only he had not fallen into coma for so long, he would have Taehyung in his arms safe and secure right now. But he wouldn't be surprised if Taehyung didn't want to be with him anymore.
Why did Taehyung made a rash decision? Oh, Jungkook tortured the younger male, remember? Just because I confess to him, doesn't mean he forgives me easily!
Jungkook bit his lip to harshly to stop himself from screaming out loud. He needs Taehyung, like right now! Funny how they hate each other at first but later needing one another desperately.
