I woke up at 3am this morning because all I could think about what the amount of homework I had due and there was only a week of school left. I'm sure all the teachers didn't expect me to hand in all the work I missed over the four fucking months I was petrified, but not doing the work could really set me behind for next year. And next year is the O.W.L.S.
Anyways, I took a shower in Fred's dorm with the silencing charm at 3:30am, put on a shirt of his and the shorts I had on before, and went back to my dorm, getting my school clothes and the mountain of homework on my desk, went back to Fred's dorm, set up camp on the ground beside his bed and started on my transfiguration, beginning chapter 19 in the textbook.
At around five, George woke up and saw me on the ground, wide awake, laying on my stomach and doing a paper for charms.
"What- um- I- mm." He walked to the washroom and closed the door. I looked back down at my paper and kept writing.
At six I got dressed in my blouse, crewneck, skirt, and knee high socks, and went down to breakfast. It was a ghost town in there. I grabbed an apple and two pieces of toast, and even sweet talked the elves into making me a large iced coffee with extra sugar, then went back to the boys dorm.
All three were still out.
The sun started to rise so it was easier for me to read chapter 25 of my transfiguration and highlight while eating my toast. I waved my wand and sliced up my, grabbed a slice, and kept on highlighting.
At 7:15, Lee and George were up. Lee asked George what I was doing, but George told him to ignore me since I was too deep in my work to talk. He was right though. I was almost done this five page essay for charms.
The two left at 7:30 for breakfast, waking Fred up when the door closed.
"Bee?" He groaned as he looked over the side of the bed, still half asleep.
"Mhm." I hummed without looking at him.
"What the hell are you doing?"
"Finishing this charms paper. Almost done. And I didn't even go over the word limit. I hope I at least get a B. The grammar probably isn't the best but oh well. He can't be that picky."
"Are you in your uniform?"
"Yep."
"How long have you been laying on the ground in your uniform?"
"Well, I got up and changed an hour and a half ago, but I've only been on the ground in this for maybe an hour."
"Got up?"
"I was in other clothes before."
"How long have you been awake?"
"Four and a half hours."
"Wait- that's like..."
I kept writing as he did his calculations.
"That's 3am. You've been working since 3am?"
"No."
"Good. I was about to say you were insane."
"I showered, changed, then started working for a couple hours, then I changed into my school clothes, got food, and went back to work."
"Nope. You're still insane."
"Yes, but I'm getting work done so- what are you doing?!" My eyes widened as I felt myself literally get lifted off the ground and dragged back onto the bed. "How did you just do that?!"
"You need to eat more."
"I told you I just ate."
Fred wrapped his arms around me and shuffled down a little, putting his head on my chest.
