Zelda's POV:

Today is Caitlan and Sabrina's first birthday! How has a year gone by so quickly?

Caitlan woke up during the night so she stayed in my bed. Sabrina can sleep through a storm and not wake up.

I woke up to Caitlan still asleep, cuddled into me. I looked over to Hilda's bed and she was already up. When Caitlan finally woke up, she tiredly rubbed her eyes and gasped and smiled when she saw me. "Happy Birthday my baby girl! Shall we go downstairs and have some breakfast?" I smiled, gently moving strands of hair out of my darling girl's face.

I carried Caitlan downstairs and Sabrina was in her high chair, already indulging in blueberry pancakes. "Good morning my darlings, I've got chocolate chip pancakes cooking for the other birthday girl." Hilda chirped - at the words of 'chocolate chip pancakes' Caitlan had a big smile on her face. I placed Caitlan in her high chair next to Sabrina and Hilda places a stack of cut up chocolate chip pancakes in front of her. "Happy Birthday sweetie." Hilda smiled and kissed the top of Caitlan's head. At the sight of the pancakes, she gasped excitedly and starting munching. I chuckled and sat down next to my baby girl. Caitlan held a piece of pancake in her small fist and tried to give me it. "No thank you darling. You enjoy" I smiled and stroked her cheek as she put that pancake into her mouth.

After the girls finished their pancakes (and me and Hilda cleaned the syrup off their faces and hands), we headed to the living room. We stacked two piles of presents when Caitlan and Sabrina were sleeping last night. Me and Hilda sat on the floor with the birthday girls, Caitlan on my knee and Sabrina on Hilda's. They got so many toys and clothes - our Spellman Girls are worth it.

Hilda baked a beautiful birthday cake for the girls, they're currently crashed out on the sofa having a midday nap. Bless their unholy souls, being one years old must be tiring.

After an hour, I decided to check on the girls. They were stood up holding hands. "Hildy! Ambrose! Come see this! Bring the camera!" I yelled. Hilda and Ambrose came rushing in, Hilda with the camera. Caitlan and Sabrina looked confused before they started walking towards us, cheeky grins plastered on their faces. Hilda took a photograph and Caitlan waddled into my open arms and Sabrina waddled in to Ambrose's. "Our clever girls!" Hilda exclaimed. Caitlan giggled and hid her head in the crook of my neck.

It was time to bring out the cake! Caitlan and Sabrina sat on Hilda's knee. I brought the cake out and me Hilda and Ambrose sang Happy Birthday. Hilda blew the candle out for our girls and we all cheered.

For dinner, we ordered in Chinese. Give Hilda a break from cooking - eventhough she loves it. The girls indulged in their food. I had to help Caitlan with her noodles, but they loved their birthday dinner. We all had some cake afterwards for dessert. I watched Caitlan stuff her face with her cake. I got a bit teary, I couldn't believe I gave birth to this gorgeous babe a year ago. Satan really blessed me with my baby girl.

Okay it's been a while, I'm sorry! I hope you'll love this chapter
