Diary Log 2

Things have been.. quite quiet, we weren't able to find anyone, we've traveled to two cities. But no one was in them, Dylan said that the civilians might have evacuated, i really hope so.
The place was foggy, We couldn't even see more than 10 meters away! I never saw anything like it.
But, i did notice something in particular. We saw many shattered windows, but no glass shards on the ground, that's weird right?
That's not all, we heard laughter, kids laughter, like that, we knew something was going on.
As i went to follow that voice, Isabel stopped me, saying how following voices always end up being a trap in movies, i understand her point but that might be a kid in danger, so i didn't listen to her.
I kept looking and looking for hours, until i found a toy, it was a toy doll, it looked like a rabbit hybrid with purple hair. It also had the word "sle..." with the other letters wiped away.
I took it tried heading back to my friends, but unfortunately i couldn't find them, it's like they completely disappeared.
And then, i heard the laughter again but this time, it was only getting closer and closer.
I turned around and tried to find the source of this laughter, only to get the answer, a kid, a kid wearing a white robe which already looked like a bad sign, but i didn't stop.
I went over to the kid and asked him about his parents, he replied saying they left, i was.. a little shook about that answer, who would leave his child behind? The kid looked around 6 or 7, and he had an unsettling smile on his face, and long hair covering his eyes.
I asked the boy if he can follow me, i wanted to back to my crew as fast as i could. But then, the child grabbed my hand,           he had a very tight grip, i asked him if he needed something, and he replied saying.. "Don't leave me.. you will regret it.."
In my mind i was like, how the hell is a child this strong?! But then, i thought of something.
This.. can't be a child, but i have no proof that he might be one of those creatures.

"Do you want your toy?" I said, and he nodded.

I proceeded to give him it, only for the bunny to wither away, like dust.
I pushed the kid back and backed away,

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?!" I said.

He started to laugh again, but it wasn't like earlier, this time it started turning into a deep deep voice, i grabbed my Glock and as i was aimed at his head, he disappeared.
I kept looking around, trying to find him, "How did he disappear so fast.." i thought to myself, and then i started running, trying to find my friends and hoping they weren't attacked by this creature.
While i was running, the creature appeared again as i blinked, i don't know how he did this, but i must take him down.

"HAVE A TASTE OF THIS" I yelled and started shooting him, then i quickly realized that the bullets are NOT doing any damage! I didn't stop shooting though, it could at least buy me sometime to find them.
After running and shooting, i finally found them, but.. the creature got to them first, Dylan, and Zayn were laying on the ground unconscious with two bloody wounds.
Isabel and Joseph were also hit, but they are still conscious. I quickly ran over to them and asked them about what happened, it appears that the kid appeared to everyone, not only me. He was able to attack Dylan and Zayn, but the others left barely.
I grabbed Zayn's first aid kit and bandaged them both, Isabel also informed me that, everyone split when i went to investigate, so this monster tried taking us out person by person.
As i finished bandaging them, i took a look at my hand and see a bruise from when the thing got a hold of me, i didn't really think much of it since it's only a bruise and we need to focus on the damaged two.
I have a theory about this creature, about his nature anyway. He stalks the group of people, and when they separate he attacks them one by one. That's the only logical explanation i got.
After a roughly hour, the two woke up, so that was a good relief, i told everyone about what i think of this monster and they all seemed to agree.
God my hand still hurts, for some reason the bruise is still there, even after 2 days. But anyway, we stood in what looked like an abandoned facility and decided to rest for the day, while the others were asleep i guarded them, i had to make sure no one gets hurt and thank God the thing didn't show up.
The next day, we started thinking of a way to kill it, Zayn looked around and saw some chemicals laying around so he thought, "Hey.. what if we poison it? Nothing can survive nuclear radiation." And that seemed like the most logical idea, Since this creature which we really need a name for is basically bullet proof, guns don't seem to do anything.
Joseph started working on a container, Zayn working on the substance that we will use to kill.. the shifter. And Dylan, Isabel and i, went to lure the monster here. We took some rifles and some walkie talkies.
The three of us split, so that the chances of it following us goes up, anyway, i got like.. approximately 174 meters away, and then waited. Waited and waited. And then, i saw something lurking in the shadows, i reloaded the gun and shot at the sky to grab its attention.
Next thing i hear is "Peekaboo.. i found you." What used to be a child is now a tall, slender humanoid, what scared me the most is that, its limbs were backwards.. ugh how disgusting.
I ran for my damn life, knowing that if i slow down this thing will get me, i shouldn't have went that far from the facility.
"ITS FOLLOWING ME! SET EVERYTHING UP! AM ABOUT 50 METERS AWAY!" i screamed at the walkie talkie, while still running there is no tomorrow.
I saw Isabel and Dylan at the gates, then as soon as they saw me running from that thing, they hid inside.
I got into the containment chamber, and tried dodging the shifters attacks, i have to be honest, well Done Joseph these walls handled the strikes really good.
I escaped the room and slammed it shut, Sighed a sigh of relief and then went back to the others.
"What happens now?" I said while sweating so damn much,
"We watch." Answered Zayn right before pressing a red button.
I look back at the container only to hear loud bloody screams, yep, we have exterminated it.
A few hours later, we packed our things and went looking for other survivors, and as for the monster, we made sure that he wouldn't be coming back.
Note from Dylan: we exploded the whole facility.
