She kept rubbing her arms as she walked down the street.
All of her body was hurting Arms, hands and feet.
As the breeze hit her face, her body shivered.
She was walked at night alone, of course she was frightened.
Her lips were quivering .
Her body shaking.
You could tell she needed it.
As she walked down the street.
She kept licking her lips as they were dryer than the desert.
She looked around, hoping she could find anything to sell.
A bottle, a can or a wallet that fell.
She started running.
As the rain was pouring.
She finally stopped at the bus stop for shelter.
Even though she ran, she couldn't be wetter.
She looked at the rain as it hit the ground.
She wondered how she could change her life around.
She wondered how her life turned out so bad.
Maybe she should have listened to her dad.
If only she could have focused on her studies
Instead of smoking drugs with all her buddies.
Oh. What a great life she would have lived.
But it doesn't matter now cause she's hooked.
