I was roughly pushed into my cell as I stumbled before hitting the floor hard.
"Go to sleep! Tomorrow's a new day meaning new experiments waiting for you!" David yelled before shutting the cell door then locking it before leaving.
I slowly and carefully rise to my feet, hissing in pain before walking towards the bars and taking a look outside my cell. I see other meta-humans being pushed into their cells and locked up.
"(Sigh) Time to go to sleep." I muttered before I backed away from the cell.
"Psst!" I heard before stopping in my tracks.
'I'm probably hearing things.'
"Hey you. Dusty Dreadlocks." A feminine voice whispered.
'Dusty Dreadlocks!?'
I walk towards the bars then look to my right to see...

"Hey, you know calling someone by one part of their body is considered rude to most people, right?" I asked as I glared at the girl.
"Oh, is that so?" The girl asked as she held her chin.
"Yeah. What if I called you chapped lips?" The girl then looks down on her lips, touching them before giving them a lick.
"(Giggles) Alright, I guess I was being rude. I'm sorry." She apologised.
"Whatever. What did ya want anyway?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing. I just wanted to get to know you before we parted ways." She said.
"Part ways? What do you mean?" I asked.
"(Giggles) We've all been through hell here but good thing it's about to end soon." She said with a smile while I looked at her as if she was crazy.
"Did you get hit at the head too hard?" I asked.
"Nope. I'm serious. We're all going to be free soon." She said.
