Chapter 2

Glaceys pov.

They kept shooting at us as Tyler tried to shake them! I pulled my gun and shot back as Tyler drove! "GET BACK IN THE CAR!", he yelled. I ignored him and shot out two of the cop cars leaving one when Tyler swerved the car forcing me back inside! Then our back glass was shot out and bullets whizzed past my head! "Stay down!", he said pinning me to the seat by holding my vest. Then the next thing I knew we were in a tail spin and crashing into another car! I'm dazed from the force of the crash but then I have Tyler dragging me out the car and into another building! We stormed up the stairs running literally for our lives! Once we found an unlocked door Tyler shuts it and barricades it. I'm trying to catch my breath when he spins on me and pins me to the wall! "Are you fucking insane!?", he yells! "Yes please yell louder so they can find us.", I snapped. "You could have gotten us both killed back there!", he roared! "I got two of them off our asses didn't I!? You're welcome!", I snapped. "Oh if I didn't need this fucking money...", he growled. "What? Leave me here to die? Or kill me your damn self?", I asked knowing I was only a dollar sign to him. He sighed. Knowing how harsh he sounded. "Look don't do it again okay, leave it to me.", he said. I looked away from him and nodded. "Come on.", he said leading me out another door into another hall way. His gun drawn he leads me through the halls. "THERE THEY ARE!!", someone yelled! "Shit!" Tyler cursed loudly! I pulled my gun, and shot the first one that ran from behind us! Tyler taking the ones coming from in front! Then we were way out numbered! A man kicked Tyler's gun from his hands! He wrestled the man to the ground! "Run Glacey!", he ordered! I spun around and ran up the stairs and through several halls! Two men hot on my trail! That is till a third literally came out of no where and slammed me through a door! Knocking the gun from my hands and punch me right square in the jaw! I kicked him off and elbowed him in the face and crawled for my gun! Then I felt him grab my ankles and drag me back to him! "TYLER!", I screamed when I saw the glit of the blade the man pulled! "Such a waste to have to kill you...", the man hissed pulling my hair forcing me to arch my back to give him a clear view of my neck while pressing the blade to my throat. "I might have some fun before I kill since your friend is dead.", I could practically hear the smirk on his lips. "Fuck you!", I snapped. He tightened his grip on my hair. I shut my eyes as the blade bit into my flesh then a gun shot rang out! I was released and opened my eyes seeing Tyler holding my gun in the door way. "Oh fuck, I've never been so happy to see you...", I half joked... I jumped up to run to him, till the shock set in.. I was almost dead. My heart beat was in my ears and I hyperventilated as realization set in and my knees buckled, thankfully Tyler caught me before I could hit the floor. I shook all over as tears came to my eyes. "Shhhh hey... heyyy it's okay.", Tyler tried to calm me. His demeanor changing. "Hey Glacey shhhh. You're okay. You're safe, I'm right here! I'm not going to let them hurt you!", he said holding me in a bone crushing hug. I fisted his shirt as a sob jumped from my throat. I held onto him for dear life and he knew I was. "I'm sorry Tyler... I'm s-sorry...", I chocked out. "Hey it's okay. You don't need to be sorry.", he said stroking my hair trying to calm me down. "N-no, Im-m s-s-sorry for being a p-pain... and doubting y-yuh-you.", I cried. "It's okay sweetheart.", he whispered and kissed my head. Once my breathing started to slow he pulled away from me slightly, "Are you hurt any where love?", he asked softly. Love? That's a first. "No... I think I'm okay.", I said. He still checked me over for any injuries, he was cut up pretty bad and his arm was bleeding. "Tyler... your arm.", I said. "It's fine, just got grazed.", he said.

Tyler's pov.

Once she calmed down enough to stand, I checked the halls and surrounding rooms. "There is an abandoned truck down stairs waiting on us. If we are going to leave we need to do it now.", I told her. She nodded and she gripped my hand as I led her down stairs and I slipped her into the truck when gunshots rang out! "Shit! Stay in and lay down in the seat! Don't move!", I told her and then shot back! The hit man that had been in the woods according to Nik had found us! The bastard grazed my shoulder and then tackled me to the ground! I punched him several times for him to return two more! I threw him into a wooden stand only for him to shoot right back up and attack again! "Where the fuck is the girl!?", he growled pinning me against the side of a van! "Fuck you mate!", I spat back and head butted him! We both pulled knives stabbing and cutting as we attacked each other!  I felt his blade slice my arm open! Then I spotted an on coming tuck! I tackled him against a building and then held him and then slung him out in the road  and right on time the truck ran him over! I took my chance and ran back over to Glacey.

Glaceys pov.

The door was ripped open and there was Tyler bloody and out of breath. He sped off in the truck and once we were a safe distance from the attack, I spoke. "Do you have medical supplies?", I asked. "Why? Are you hurt?", he asked eyes snapping over to me. "No but you are.", I said. "I'm fine.", he grunted. "No your not. Your arm is worse than from the bullet, it will be infected by tomorrow.", I said. He huffed and I let the conversation drop ready to bring back up once we got somewhere safe.
