Chapter five

"I'm home" I said closing the door behind me. Everyone was in the longue room, it looked rather serious. "Sit down sweetheart" my mum said quietly. "What's going on" I asked worried before taking a seat next to my siblings.
"In the last few months lots of things have gone down hill. Children failing at school, pregnancies, disobeying rules. I've had it. Lacey and Emma, you are both about to become mothers, Lacey your not even of age or have a relationship and Emma your still in school aswell" my mum trailed off.
I really wasn't in the mood for a lecture and Bub didn't seem really happy either as she was kicking me in the ribs.
"Now, either you ALL start to pull your socks up or grandma will come and stay with us and all technology will be banned from this house, got it"
"No no no not grandma please mum!" Tyler moaned. "Yeah please mum we will behave" Sarah protested.

My grandmother was a hard headed woman who had no time for silliness or fun. I loved her but I prefer to love her from a distance.

I quickly texted jai, asking him to meet me outside as I needed to talk to him.

"Emma and Lacey. I need to talk to both of you, now. In my room" mum demanded.
We followed mum up to her room, Lacey pretending she was dieing from having to walk up a flight of stairs.
"Yeah mum?" I asked taking a seat.
"I'm rather disappoint in you both.. Pregnant at such young ages!"
Lacey didn't even seem phased but I felt ashamed for my mother..
"This house is barely big enough for us let alone another TWO!.." Mum began to trail off..
"..one of you need to move out. Having you both here is too mum. I'd love to support you both but since you've decided to fall pregnant you need to except the responsibitly"
"Well it's not going to be me! I'm the younger one and I clearly need help with a child! I don't even want the little fucker I-"
"LANGUAGE LACEY!"
"Sorry.." She mumbled whilst looking down.
"Well yous have til Friday to decide or you can both go to grandmas" mum said gesturing us out of her room.

"You better leave! As if I'm going to get sent to hell for you or your kid!" Lacey said wondering down the stairs.
Oh how I'd love to just push her.

Getting rid of those thought outta my head I remembered jai was outside waiting for me!
I hurrily went outside too meet him.
He was sitting on the curb
"Hey.. Take your time" he sarcastically said giving me a kiss.
"Sorry mum wanted to talk"
"So what's up?" He asked helping me into a seat.
"Mum has said either me or Lacey needs to move out as there's not enough room for two more kids, and if we til Friday to decide or we both have to go to grandmas.." I said tears starting to form.
"Hey hey, don't cry, we will work this out baby" he said reasurring me.

Being 20 weeks pregnant and scared of motherhood and growing this is not what I needed.

"Move in with me?" Jai said.
I laughed brushing off what I thought was a sarcastic gesture.
"... I'm being serious. We're about to have a baby? why not live together? Besides when Bub comes we will be together every night anyways? Like hell I'm gunna leave my bubby or my girl for a single night.."

The words rung in my head.. Living with jai.. Wow..
