Chapter 2: The First Victim?

While we're inside the car, we talk a little bit. I saw him smiling while driving.

"Hey! Why are you laughing? is there something funny? do I look like a clown sa suot ko?", I said with a happy tone.

"No, I just can't stop smiling while seeing you, cause you know, you're my happiness", he sweetly said.

"You know what? I love na di nagbabago pakikitungo mo sakin ever since when I'm just your girlfriend and ngayon na magiging asawa na kita ganon padin after 3 years, I just love the idea and you're always better for me and you don't need to change".

He just smiled by hearing those words from my mouth.

After 30 minutes of driving we finally reached our destination where we'll be having the party.

Agad siyang lunabas ng kotse at inalalayan ako sa paglabas ng kotse. When I saw the place it isn't familiar to me.

"Do you know this place?", I asked cause it was really not familiar.

"Uhm, yes, this is a resort, a resort owned by Camille's parents", he said.

"Ahm okay, let's go inside if that's the matter", I said after being cleared up.

"Let's go, tayo nalang hinihintay dun", he answered.

It was almost 8:30 pm, at sa entrance palang ng resort ay rinig na rinig na ang music sa party reception.

"By the way, do you really plan this? I thought tayong lima lang bat parang andami ata", I asked him.

"Yes I planned this before, if you say yes to my wedding proposal then we'll be having a party after together with our dear bestfriends and sorry nakalinutan kong sabihin invited din kabatchmates natin it's a part of the deal", he said.

Tumango nalang ako. Finally narating na namin ang place ng party, bumungad sa akin si Kristine na may dalang wine glass.

"Nandito na pala ang mag fiance, come let's enjoy the party, Dianne you're so beautiful tonight", she said.

"Thank you Kristine nasaan sila?", I asked.

"Ayon inienjoy ang party while nakikipag usap sa nga kabatchmates natin"

I can't even hear her voice because of the loud sound.

I can see our batchmates and my bestfriends having fun and enjoying the party while the music is at it's finest with different lighting effects in the room.

Agad na nagsalita si Marco.

"Can I go there Dianne? ", Marco asked some permission.

"Yes of course, no probs pero dito lang muna ako sa tabi tabi", I let him go with them.

"Okay, babalik ako", he responded.

The party is going right while me just sitting sa tabi. My bestfriends know that ever since that I am not into parties but pinagbibigyan ko nalang sila cause I'm not kill joy, I even drink some wine entertaining and talking to my batchmates about our life experiences, their life experiences after graduation, and especially about our engagement. We even talk about the ring na suot suot ko, it's gold coating rounded with five small diamonds was indeed so attractive for them. All of the sudden I saw Fred na papalapit sa kinauupuan ko, I can see that he's already drunk. Ng makalapit siya sakin ay agad siyang nagsalita.

"Uy, Dianne, why not having some fun there?", he asked.

"Fred, you already know that I'm not really into parties, I'm here para maentertain yung mga kabatchmates natin", I said calmly.
