Alarms blared through the place as Luke and I got the truck.

"Got the machine" he said to me.

"Let's go" I replied, the both of us jumping into the truck.

As we were increasing speed through Eteon we heard something jump on top of the truck, seeing Brixton land on a motorcycle before speeding off.

"That man really is black Superman" Luke said and I just laughed.

Suddenly the bomb went off, the both of us looking in the back mirror to see flames behind us.

"You better speed up" I said as he changed directions.

I looked up and saw Hattie and Deckard above us, Brixton tailing.

Be careful Deck.

I was bought out of my thoughts by Luke crashing into a car as we exited the building.

"Whoo!" He yelled in excitement making me laugh.

"Hobbs, we ain't gonna make it! Bringin her to you guys!" Deckard yelled through our earpieces.

"You thinkin' what I'm thinkin', Shaw?" Luke asked. "Let's trade some paint."

"Let's trade some paint" he repeated.

"Idiots" I mumbled.

"Brace yourself" he said and I held on tight as Luke opened his door, turning the truck so it did a 360, knocking the cars out of our way.

I looked ahead to see Deckard and Hattie speeding towards us as we did the same.

She jumped from his car, Luke grabbing and pulling her onto his lap.

I smirked as I watched the two of them stare at each other. Cute.

I then coughed, signalling I was still there, and scaring the two of them.

Hattie sat in the seat next to me, smiling to herself.

I watched in my rear view window as Deckard's car caught fire.

"Gonna need a ride!" He said.

"I know what your thinking" Luke said.

"Are you insane!" I replied, knowing what they were talking about.

"Just keep driving. I'll make it"

I watched outside the window, Hattie leaning over to see as well, as Deckard drove off the side of a building, landing on the back of the truck.

I sighed, shaking my head and turning back around, nervously tapping my leg.

"Idiot" I muttered.

"Take the wheel" Luke said to Hattie, who was closer.

"Be careful, the both of you" I said as Luke nodded, opening the door and walking onto the back of ten truck with Deckard.

I saw Brixton's motorcycle in the corner of my eye fly past us as a thud was heard from the back.

I watched as Eteon started falling apart, Hattie and I sticking our heads out to see what they were doing.

"Holy fuck drive faster!" I yelled as a concrete pillar started falling.

"I am!" She replied just as worried.

The truck then jolted, the pillar hitting us and denting the trucks tray, the engine spluttering and stopping.

Hattie and I got out, Luke and Deckard jumping off the tray.

"Good driving" I said to Hattie, smiling as we were both hunched over, breathing heavily.

"Thanks" she breathed.

"I'm sorry brother" Luke said. "This thing is really damaged."

"Well, there goes option two" Hattie said. "That only leaves the first one."

"Come on, stop it, Hat" Deckard said.

"I'm tried, Deck. I am done running" she replied.

"We still got time" he said determined.

"Time? Time for what? The machine's destroyed" she said.

"Yeah, well, we'll fix it"

"Well, how?" She asked.

"We need to find a place to get off the grid" I said.

"Where? We're wanted all over the world, and Brixton won't stop. We can't risk millions of people. I told you on the plane, we should have gone with option one. It is done now, Deck" She snapped.

"It's not done" he replied.

"It's done" she said sternly.

"It's not done!" He snapped back, walking up to her. "It's not done. Look at me. Remember that thing you used to say to me when we were kids? Huh? You used to look at me and say 'Deck it's never over till it's over.' We used to laugh. Remember that?"

I felt my heart break at the sight of them fighting.

"No, Deck, it went: 'it's never over till I say it's over.' She replied tearfully.

"Yeah, that was it" he said, chuckling softly.

I decided to stop listening to them and turned to Luke, seeing him looking at an old photograph.

"What's that?" I asked him, taking a look to see Jonah on his bike.

"I remember that day" I smiled.

"I know a place" Luke said to the group.

"Where?" Deckard asked.

"It's the last place on Earth I ever want to go" he replied, breaking my heart. "Home."
