Chapter 3: That's why I love you Lake!

Few days later, 

Flashbacks:

In her head: Kiel is hugging her.

Omggggg, Kiel is fuckin' my mind. I can't stop thinking of that damn day.

Summer! Lake shouted from afar while crossing the pedestrian lane. 

I was spacing out when he called me so I didn't approach. Suddenly Lake grabbed my hand and run, I have no idea what's happening right now. Summer, you look bad today, he chuckled. 

No way! I said to him then smiled. 

"Summer let's eat sweets today since you didn't attend school again. "

"Hmmm, sweets? what sweets?" I asked him.

While walking I asked Lake about Kiel.

"Lake, you're friends with Kiel right?" "I can't remember him that much, who is he?"

His face suddenly draws a sad emotion. "He's important to you, Summer." He said.

"You like him but you never told him about it until I accidentally told him about it."

"Really? I can't really remember him, He's cool though."

"How about this you help me remember him." I eagerly said.

"Sure Summer, if it's you I will." He smiled

"That's why I love you Lake, you always your big sister HAHAHAHAH."  I teased him.

"Stop saying that you're not my sister Summer." He angrily replied.

"C'mon you, my little baby brother."  I teased him again.

"But honestly thank you Lake for always being there for me, you're the best," I told him

Then we stopped the conversation and started to find a store. We found an ice cream store and entered. What a big surprise guess who's there? It's Kiel, I hide to Lake's back and whispered "we shouldn't go here let's find another store."

"Why?" He confusingly replied.

"I'll explain it to you later Lake, for now, let's quickly go out." dragging him to the door.

Kiel saw us together while we're exiting the door. "Hi, Summer!"

Did he just saw me? why of all time. I look busted right now for thinking about that thing last time we met. 

Now, He's walking towards us, Lake stops me from exiting the store and grabbed my hand. 

"Hi Kiel, it's been a while." 

"Oh, it's you Lake, how is it going?"

"I'm fine man, we're here to find stores."

"I see, come sit here."

Lake suddenly drags me to sit down, this is a big mess I don't really want to see Kiel. It's so awkward. 

"Summer, how are you it's been days since I last saw you."

"You already met each other? I'm not informed."

"Yeah, we did, last time with Treyton," I said.

The awkward moment began.

"Summer, I should see your family while I'm still here," Kiel said

"Ohh, Sure ." I looked at Lake while I said that.

Kiel and Lake talked about the memories they had, I feel awkward the whole time.  Lake's Mom called him to go back home immediately. So Lake told Kiel to take care of me.

"Sorry Summer, I need to go home now. I'll definitely pay back to you. Bye!"

I looked at Kiel, wow he's really handsome but I can't really remember him.

"Summer?"

"Yes?"

"Remember this place?"

"No" I confusedly answered

"This is where we first-time hangout with each other."

"I'm really sorry Kiel but I can't really remember you."

"It's fine Summer I just want you to know."

"You look pretty today btw."

"Thank you." I shyly said.
