Charlie woke up to some chuckling and shushing all around her, but she brushed it off as creaking noises of the ship as she snuggled into the warmth of her 'bed'. However, when her 'bed' snuggled back into her and the laughter became a lot more stifled she slowly opened her eyes to see she was hiding in the familiar jacket and there were five shadows surrounding them that in closer inspection were Mason, Conrad, Reles, Cole and Mills. Charlie groaned loudly and gave up, cuddling more into the neck of the slowly waking soldier as she grumbled "I was tired, he was tired and I couldn't sleep 'cause Mason was blabbering about Conrad." causing the photographer and survivalist to glance at each other and turn red while the soldiers heartily laughed, successfully waking Reg. "Where and what is happening?" he mumbled as he sat up and lifted Charlie up with him, who was still leaning in to him, attempting to block out the sun. The soldier boys shrugged and pulled him forward and ruffled his hair, mumbling "lover boy". The boys watched as Mason pulled her sister into a hug and then slapped her head for the comment earlier, causing the blonde to run over to Conrad and hide behind him, leaning into his warm hug. You could honestly never guess that she'd only met him the other day as they were practically brother and sister.

The boys walked off to the deck once the group of three had left and they were quiet until Reles started "Dear Billy, even though your Uncle Reg was an idiot, he still managed to get the girl!" causing the boys to whoop and boom with laughter that was heard throughout the ship.

After a rather loud complaint from Mason about how she was worried sick when Charlie wasn't there in the morning, and for calling her out in front of Conrad, Mason threw a muffin at Charlie and then left to photograph the crew and the ship, telling Charlie that since she was so close to the soldiers, it was her job to take photos of them and the extended crew. Charlie just rolled her eyes and shouted after Mason that she loved her before she showered quickly and washed her hair. Charlie then walked back into her room and quickly did a light layer of make up and blow dried her hair before she changed into a sports bra, a pair of beige shorts, a dark purple loose shirt that she tied around instead of doing up the buttons and a pair of tennis shoes. Smiling in her mirror, Charlie picked up her camera and double checked the film before running out of the room and skipping to the lunch hall where she saw Mason and Conrad talking with light tipped smiles.

Charlie giggled and took a quick photo of the pair eating breakfast before she ran over and sat down next to Conrad who passed her a cup of orange juice and a vitamin tablet as Mason passed her a slice of toast. The group truly looked like a little family, and it made Charlie's heart warm at her sight of her sister being so happy. Charlie grinned widely and added a "Morning Jamesie." causing Mason to glare at her and James to laugh and give her a half hug. "Remember to do your photos and meet up with me at one o'clock, we should be there by then." Mason commanded her sister. Charlie faux saluted and walked off, hugging James and Mason behind their backs before she left.

Charlie ended up on the flight deck, looking out to see the group of soldiers all nestled on crates. The closer she got, the photographer realised that they were playing some sort of card game (blackjack from the vocabulary Mills was shouting out) except from Chapman who was writing and Cole who was reading. She snapped a photo of the group and slowly walked towards them, behind Reg who was too concentrated on the game to realise. Mills who was sitting directly in front of her signalled for her to heck his cards and when she looked over his shoulder she carefully scratched four fingers across her heart. Reg caught sight of where Mills was looking and turned around, only to see a shadow of a smirking Charlie who held her hand up to her face to shield herself from the sun. "Oi little Weaver!" he called and chased her around the deck as she squealed when he picked her up and spun her around, tickling her waist until she surrendered.

Charlie quickly jogged back to the group and jumped down next to Chapman. "What ya writing there Jackie?" she asked in genuine curiosity. He shrugged and replied "Letter to my boy." as he held it up for her to read. Meanwhile, Mills and Reles bounced off each other as they joked "Dear Billy, I know I said I'd be home b your birthday, but I lied straight to your face. I'm a terrible dad. I hope this letter makes up for it." and the whole group chuckled as Chapman replied "That's too short." Charlie shrugged and suddenly a light bulb went off in her head so she left her camera around Cole's neck as se trusted him with it and dashed off back to her room. She ran back a few minutes later, out of breath and with a polaroid camera. "If I take a few photos of you lot, you can put it in there and he'll know you miss him." Everyone's hearts warmed at the idea so Charlie took a few photos of the boys together doing wacky poses and Cole even took a few of Reg and Charlie together when they were play fighting. After snapping a ew and handing them to Jack who put them in his book, it was back to business.
