─ ::"Are you sure you don't want me there tonight" Alaric asks as everyone besides Elena gathered in the Salvatore living room. "I think Alaric should go, I could just stay at home with my mom and Elena" Jane says from her place next to Damon.
"No I need you to stay with Elena and we need Jane to trick Katherine with Caroline" Stefan says, "Elena can't know about any of this".
"I'll make sure she won't leave the house" Alaric says, while also making a silent promise to Jane to look after her mom while she's out. "Yeah, if you have cold feet speak now, I don't want anyone to chicken out... Caroline?" Damon says with a raised eyebrow towards the said girl only to get smacked on the shoulder by Jane, he turns and gives her a smirk before looking back towards Caroline.
"I won't, she killed me so fair is fair. As long as there isn't any werewolves running around" Caroline says.
"Damon took care of Mason, I want a shot at her for trying to kill my mom" Jane says confidently giving Caroline an encouraging smile while playing with her necklace.
"Yeah I hear you J, as long as Tyler doesn't kill anyone, he won't turn" Jeremy says.
"I wouldn't jinx it little Gilbert" Damon says, Jeremy rolls his eyes in response.
"Bon, are you okay with this?" Jane asks her best friend. Bonnie hesitated before saying "as long as no one gets hurt".
"Except Katherine. Tonight she's gonna get a stake through the heart" Damon says briefly making eye contact with Stefan from across him. 'And hopefully this supernatural bullshit will end tonight' Jane thought tiredly.

"You look pretty" Jenna says from her position on the couch as her daughter comes down the stairs, Elena behind her having done her cousins hair and makeup, Jane was wearing a black dress with colourful flowers on it, her small black purse in her hand and a black mask with a few flowers on it in the other hand. She was also wearing the necklace with the initial JM on it.
"Thank you, I didn't want to go all out so I thought that this would be okay, and you mostly have Elena to thank for this" Jane says blushing a little bit once she made it down the stairs and into the Gilbert living, Elena following in behind her and sitting next to her mom on the couch.
Alaric comes in from the kitchen and stares at his student/sort-of-daughter. "you look nice" he says before making his way back out to the kitchen to grab some plates for there pizza.
Speaking of which, Jane made her way around the couch and to the coffee table, where she grabbed a slice and shoved it into her mouth. "And there she is" Jenna says rolling her eyes.
"Who are you going with?" Elena asks. "Damon decided to take me, it was him or Matt and as much as I love Matt, he's too awkward" Jane says once she swallowed her pizza.
