I woke up. My brother was outside and he was smoking cigarette. I looked beside me and it was Marky. He was sleeping soundly. His perfect face was being highlighted by the silver light coming from the moon outside. I just wished I lived in his time. I wish I could stay but I can't. His breathing was so calm. It's like he's alive but he's not. His eyes fluttered open.
"Hello" he smiled.
That smile. I'll miss that smile.
"Hello" I smiled.
"I'm so sorry" he apologized.
"Sh.. Don't say that. Forget it."
"You guys need to go now"
"Go? I wanna be with you forever"
"I am always with you. I am that one shadow you see when you're still a kid"
"So you're watching me for years too?"
"Yes"
"You watched everything I did? Damn... that's embarassing"

I just broke a smile. But a tear just fell from the corner of my eyes. This is not the happy ending I want to happen. He just stared at me and wiped my tears away.
"Maybe one day, we'll meet again. I'll wait for you. Promise me to wait for me too" he smiled.
"I freaking hate goodbyes" I smiled.
"You're young, my love. You'll meet boys. Handsome boys. Fine boys"
"I don't want fine boys. I want you. Just you"
"I'm a ghost"
"Atleast you once lived in Earth"
"Yes. But you're still breathing in your world"
"I wanna die"
"Nah.. I won't let you do that, stupid"

We just stood up and I carried my bag. My brother hugged me tight. i still have my brother. I can't lose him but I can't lose Marky too. I saw Marky hold a dagger and he was pointing it to his chest.
"Are you half crazy? What are you doing?!" I screamed.
"It won't hurt. I'm dead. This is the only way you guys can go back to your world" he said.
"I won't see you again"
"We will someday meet. Promise me to wait for me. I'll wait for you"
"I wanna stay"
"You should go now"
"I love you!"
"Me too!"
He just stabbed him his dagger. I thought my words can change his mind. In just a blink of an eye, I saw a bright light. I fluttered my eyes. The ceiling was white. I got tubes all over me. I'm in a hospital. Is it just part of my dream? My brother was on the other bed beside me and he was staring at me. A nurse came by and she was shocked. Doctors went inside our room.
