Deku 10

U.A. Sports Festival Part 1

Narrator-After the U.S.J. Incident everyone was given a day to relax and Deku was given half of the credit for beating Nomu with All Might. Basically In Class 1-A, Mr.Aizawa has told his students that the U.A. Sports Festival is coming up and encourages his students to use the special event to get noticed as the country's top pro heroes will be watching it. The students start getting pumped up for the event, especially Uraraka. So that's where this chapter starts

Uraraka-Let's do our best in the sports festival.

Deku-Uraraka. Are you ok? You look really different.

Mina-Seriously, what's up? You're normally,like, the most laid back girl ever.

Deku-Yea. You're so menacing, it's really freaky.

Uraraka-Everyone! I'm gonna do my best!

Everyone-Yeah!

Uraraka-I said, I'm gonna do my best!

Kirishima-You okay. You kinda look like you're losin' it.

Deku-(Now, that I think about. I have been wanting to ask and tell her a few things. I can after class.)

Cafeteria-

Deku-Hey,Uraraka? Can I talk to you?

Uraraka-Ok,what's up?

Deku-One. Why did you come to U.A.? Why do you want to be a pro,y'know.

Uraraka-Oh...

Deku-If you don't want to talk about it you don't have to.

Uraraka-No it's ok.... It's...Well...Because...

Deku-It's for the money? Actually that makes a lot of sense. But anyway, You wanna be a hero so you can get rich?

Uraraka-*Rubbing the back of her head* If we're cutting to the chase,then,yeah. I'm sorry if it sounds greedy. You have such admirable motivations. I hope you don't think less of me now.

Deku-No way. You're the bravest and coolest girl I've ever met and it's just kinda surprising.

Uraraka-*Sighs* Well,you see,my family owns a construction company but we haven't gotten any work lately,so we're flat broke. Anyway, this isn't really something I usually tell other people, but...

Deku-Hey, It's ok, wait if you get licensed couldn't you do most of the heavy lifting. You could just float everything and sell the heavy equipment.

Uraraka-I know,right? I've been telling Dad that since I was a kid!

Deku-Oh no. Here's the but isn't it.

Uraraka-But..

Deku-Called it.

Uraraka-*Tells her backstory* I'm gonna to become a pro. I'll sign with a good agency and make plenty of money.Then I'll be able to let my parents have an easy life!

Deku-Woah! And you say I have admirable motivations, well you do too. (She's more grounded than everyone here.)

All Might-Young Midoriya is here!

Deku-Hey, All Might but why are you here?

All Might-Lunch! Ya wanna eat with me?

Uraraka-That's adorable!

Deku-No,it's embarrassing.

All Might-Whaddaya say?

Deku-Sure. I'm coming,hey Uraraka meet Iida in the cafeteria. See you later.

Narrator-In the break room, both All Might and Deku eat their lunch. Deku tells All Might more about his process with control over One For All. All Might tells Deku that his time as the Symbol of Peace is coming to its end. All Might says to Deku that he wants Deku to tell the world at the U.A. Sports Festival that he is the next generation's "All Might", shocking Deku. Sorry I'm being lazy.
