Hogwarts: A Mixed World

|11|Nightmares

Summer's POV
There was screaming. So much screaming. They stared up at me, begging for help. Their sunken eyes, ghastly pale skin. They wore  only rags  barely covering them up. It was a living hell. And in the the midst of it all  he stood there. Clutching a woman's body, laughing like a mad man. The woman was yelling at me to run, to save myself, to never come back. My mouth wasn't moving but I heard my voice. Begging the madman to stop. To have mercy. He looked at me, a sinister grin painted upon his face. "Found you..."

I woke up in a cold sweat, breathing heavily. I looked around in panic wondering where I was before I remembered, it's Hogwarts. I am safe. For now. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and tugged of my sheets. I dragged myself to the bathroom and turned on the shower. I let the cold water seep through my hair as I closed my eyes. What was that all about? Why did I dream of it? It happened so long ago. I shook my head. I shouldn't dwell on stuff like this. It'll make life even more depressing and I have enough to deal with right now.

I finished my shower and changed into my yellow and black uniform adorned with the Hufflepuff Crest. I looked into the mirror as I brushed my shiny blonde hair. My  prussian blue eyes stared back at me. I sighed. I lifted my two fingers up and used them to force myself to smile. It hurt my face. Smiling that is. I turned around and paced towards the bedroom, hesitating before opening the door, debating on whether I should wake my roommates up or just go and have breakfast. Susan can wake herself up. So can that Abbott girl. Hannah, I think is her name. I decide that food is more important and leave the common room.

The Great Hall only has a few students in it, mostly 5th and 7th years. I walk over to my table and sit down before scanning the multiple options of food before me. I sigh and pile my plate with bacon and toast before tucking in.

"Hey" a deep voice said behind me. I turned around only to face Cedric Diggory. The Cedric Diggory aka. Pretty Boy or as my cousin calls him 'Shinee Boy'. "Oh umm hi" I said as I turned back around to finish my bacon. He sat next to me and dear lord I hope he didn't notice me tense up. He studied me for a bit before speaking. "I'm Cedric. Cedric Diggory". "Summer Greene" I nodded as I stood up abruptly. "I have Potions and my roommates told me to wake them up so I have to go". He got up. "Would you like me to accompany you, I was headed back aswell". I rolled my eyes in disbelief before agreeing and we both left the Hall.

We bumped into Cherry on the way. She gave me a look that said  We'll talk later and when we do I want answers. I nodded meekly in her detention before rejoining Shinee Boy who was waiting for me. What on earth was I doing??

I sighed. Potions is so boring. I can't wait for Care of Magical Creatures. I have it right before Nichole and Cherry have it. I'm so unlucky. They nearly have all their classes together and I am always on my own. It's annoying and unfair because I never get to spend time with them other than when we meet at the Black Lake to discuss the future and that black dog who we have concluded is Sirius Black. I am always with Susan and Hannah and they are okay but are too kind for their own good.

When can we get out of this nightmare??

I hope you enjoy this relatively short chapter. I sometimes see super pong chapters on this app and wonder how some people have the motivation to write this much. I like having a but of detail and writing the story in Snippets and small bits. Any who, I hope you enjoyed this and yah!!💜💜💜☺
