Half this damn plot is due to Himiko playing with metaphorical fire, even if she's the most morally clean and technically legally Clean cast member. She fuelled the Flames. And then gets the get out jail free card from Maki and Tenko. Also yes her most Canon ship is Irumeno. They are in my Canon both the cleanest characters.
Also, they have very close ages in 15 and 16, In which Himiko turns sixteen a month before the Killing game.
